The 49ers could win this division with their eyes closed. They are a strong defensive team, allowing under 18ppg, and have best tackler in the league in Patrick Willis. They did not cause many turnovers last season but they sacked the QB 44 times. On the offensive side of the ball, look for Alex Smith to have a breakout season. With a full season of Crabtree and the emergence of Vernon Davis late last season, Smith should feel save throwing to either option. In the backfield, they have a top 5 RB in Frank Gore, and now have a potential great backup RB in Westbrook if he can stay healthy. Look for the Niners in the playoffs this year.
Cardinals
Key Additions: Derek Anderson, Rex Hadnot, Alan Faneca, Joey Porter, Paris Lenon, Justin Miller, Kerry Rhodes, Jay Feely, Dan Williams, Daryl Washington, Andre Roberts, O'Brien Schofield, John Skelton.
Key Losses: Kurt Warner, Anquan Boldin, Jerheme Urban, Mike Gandy, Karlos Dansby, Bryant McFadden, Antrel Rolle, Neil Rackers

A team that loses Kurt Warner, Anquan Boldin, Karlos Dansby, and Antrel Rolle in one off season normally would be looking to rebuild. But the Cardinals have built a team that should not be far off from last years success. Leinart is no Warner, and Breaston is no Boldin, but the Cardinals will hand the ball off to Sophomore Beanie Wells this year to carry the team offensively. On the defensive side, they lost 3 of their top 5 tacklers from last season. Joey Porter will fill in nicely leading this defense. They are aggressive, got to the QB 43 times last year, and had 21 INTs.
Seahawks
Key Additions: Charlie Whitehurst, Leon Washington, Quinton Ganther, Mike Williams, Ruvell Martin, Chris Baker, Chester Pitts, Ben Hamilton, Chris Clemons, Kentwan Balmer, Matt McCoy, Kevin Ellison, Russell Okung, Earl Thomas, Golden Tate, Walter Thurmond, E.J. Wilson, Kam Chancellor, Anthony McCoy.
Key Losses: Seneca Wallace, LenDale White, Nate Burleson, Walter Jones, Brandon Frye, Rob Sims, Patrick Kerney, Darryl Tapp, Cory Redding, Lance Laury, Ken Lucas, Deon Grant

New coach Pete Carroll will turn this team around, not this year but you will see results. Rookie Earl Thomas will look to turn around the leagues third wost pass defense last year. The linebackers on this team are great, with Lofa Tatupu returning from injury and leading the way ahead of David Hawthorne, and Aaron Curry. Carroll asked to trade for Charlie Whitehurst and I expect him to be used if Hassleback does not perform this year or if the team is out of it early on. The RB situation is going to be rotating with Julius Jones, Justin Forsett, and Leon Washington all getting touches. The team is rebuilding but they look like they are not far away from being playoff contenders again.
Rams
Key Additions: A.J. Feeley, Hank Fraley, Chris Hovan, Fred Robbins, Na'il Diggs, Bobby Carpenter, Kevin Dockery, Kevin Payne, Sam Bradford, Rodger Saffold, Jerome Murphy, Mardy Gilyard, Michael Hoomanawanui, Hall Davis.
Key Losses: Marc Bulger, Kyle Boller, Randy McMichael, Alex Barron, Leonard Little, Adam Carriker, Paris Lenon, Jonathan Wade

The Rams need to do Steven Jackson a favor and trade him. This team will be in last for years to come. The Bradford pick was the right pick and they have the right coach in Steve Spagnuolo to turn a defense around. A defense that ranks 8th and 6th worst against the Pass and Rush respectively. A defense that only had 8 INTsLaurinaitis. This will be another long season for Rams fans but at least they have big name players to cheer to for.
