NFL All Preseason Team

QB

  • Charlie Whitehurst - Acquired in the offseason from the Chargers, Whitehurst knows there is an opportunity to play.  Completed just over 50% of his 90 attempts for 635 yards, 4 TDs and 4 INTs. video
  • Matt Flynn - This guy will never see the field in Green Bay but if Rodgers gets injured, the Packers should be alright.  Completed 58% of his 85 attempts, 583 yards, 2 TDs and 2 INTs.  video

RB
  • Anthony Dixon - The Rookie ran for 300 yards on 74 carries and scored in all 4 games.  Look for Dixon to keep Gore healthy this season and get over 125 carries.  Not sure where Brian Westbrook fits in with the Niners. video
  • Jonathan Dwyer - The rookie only had 39 attempts during the Preseason, but took advantage of them for 183 yards and a score.  He will get up to 40% of the carries this year and the first 6 weeks for the Steelers will be run heavy offense. video
WR
  • Victor Cruz - 15 catches 297 yards and 4 TDs, Cruz looks like a real steal for the Giants, if they can find a roster spot for him.  He will get some 3rd down and Special Teams looks. video
  • Deon Butler - The Sophomore exploded for 7 catches and 101 yards against Oakland to finish with 15 catches and 191 yards. He will be on the field Week1 for the Seahawks. video
  • Matt Willis - 13 catches and 263 yards later, Matt Willis might have worked his way onto the Broncos as a ST player or 4th receiever. video
TE
  • Jermichael Finley - 12 catches 163 yards and 2 TDs in only 3 preseason games. This guy is a top 5 TE. video
  • Michael Hoomanawanui - The rookie out of Illinois caught 9 passes for 139 and 2 scores this preseason.  The only person holding him back from starting is Billy Bajema......yeah he will be the Rams starter. video
K
  • Josh Brown - Was perfect this preseason going 9-9 in FGs and 7 for 7 on the XPs.  3-3 (20-29), 3-3-(30-39), 2-2(40-49), 1-1(50+) video
DEF/ST
  • Carolina Panthers - 8.2 Points Per Game, 19 Sacks, 6 Fumbles Recovered, 1 Defensive TD, 2 INT video
