And now we know that the NFL will be postponing today's Eagles-Vikings game.
Philadelphia-based NFL writer Adam Caplan of FOX Sports tweets that the Eagles have said the game is postponed until Tuesday night.
In this case, at this point, the postponement has little to do with whether or not the game will be playable and much to do with the safety of fans.
The game will be played Tuesday at 8 p.m. Eastern, according to NFL Network. And while that's not a great thing for Eagles fans that might have planned to been on hand to cheer on Michael Vick tonight and will now have to figure out how to make a weeknight game work, it might produce a better game for them.
After all, Brett Favre, seemingly ailing with more injuries than there are varieties of snowflakes, now has 48 hours to get healthy. And regardless of your opinions on Favre, him playing is still a more exciting prospect than rookie Joe Webb starting.

  1. With the extra 2 days rest, but still a questionable tag, should I start AP or should I play it safe and put in Turner tonight?

26.8 point lead with Vick and (AP or Turner) vs Brees, Akers and DeSean Jackson...Non PPR League

  2. Same situation as Tmac but I have a 22.94 point lead with Vick and ap or turner vs Brees, Roddy White, Akers and Philadelphia

Right now im leaning towards Turner mainly cus of the conditions (dome vs snow) and with Min not having a pass game the line will be stacked.

  3. @ Tmac - Go with Turner. AP banged up and Vikings offense wont do much without Favre under center.

  4. @ Anonymous - Yes go with Turner. Conditions are better and the Falcons dont lose at home which means Turner will help them get a W against the Saints

  7. @ JJ - Your exactly right! Webb surprised a lot of people including myself Tuesday night. He actually was more impressive then Mike Vick. Glad to see the rookie do some good when all the attention is on the old man.
