  1. Guys! Appreciated the advice last week ! I am the 6 th seed and am in the finals !

My opponent (division leader) is pretty stacked but I gots faith!
He pulled a quick one and grabbed Joe Webb (who is wr eligible ) but I like my chances. Id appreciate your input ...

Qb- Brady freeman big Ben..I think I like the first 2
Rb- torain bradshaw and blount ...( first two as well?)
Wr is a doosie to me ... pick three... garcon, britt, djax, an b Marshall... Sry garcon?

    Thanks guys

  2. @ Mark - I LOVE Brady's matchup for this week! Freeman also has a nice matchup against a soft Seattle defense. Big Ben is deff a guy to avoid as the Panthers defense isn't as bad as people think, plus the weather might be bad on Sunday so not a good start.

All 3 of your RBs are facing poor run defenses..Bradshaw (Packers ranked 19th), Torain (Jacksonville ranked 18th), and Blount (Seattle ranked 21st) so they all might be in line for a great game. However as a Giant fan I'm going to say sit Bradshaw this week and roll with Torain and Blount. Bradshaw has been so hit or miss the past 4 weeks or so, and you never know if he will get his carries, plus he loses goalline TDs to Jacobs.

With Collie out again Garcon is a must start on a heavy pass offense led by Peyton Manning in a must win game for the Colts. Britt has been the go to guy with Collins under center and should continue to put up nice numbers this week, and go with Jackson as his speed alone makes him a must start. He's such a deep threat and as we all saw last week he can get you points in the punt return game as well.

  3. Hey guys - this is my finals week and I was #1 going into the playoffs so to lose this game would suck! I'm torn -
TE: Mercedes L or Tony G?
WR: Maclin, V Jackson, L Fitzy, and M Colston - order of start?

My opponent is stacked (can you say Arian Foster?) so every little edge matters. Thanks!

  4. @ Smith - Being that Jacksonville needs to win I would say they will play it smart and just pound the ball on the ground all day against an awful Washington Redskins run defense. That being said I don't feel like Lewis will play a big part in their offense besides blocking. Tony G might be in line for a big game tho. The Saints offense is starting to get healthy again (Bush & Thomas) so they will put up points, so the Falcons will have to throw to keep up the pace. They already played a 27-24 game and I can see this one being a 34-31 type game with not a lot of defense being played by either team. Tony G already had a 8 catch 110 yard with a TD game against the Saints this year so expect a good game outta him Monday night.

For this week I like Colston (Same reason as Tony G), Jackson (With Gates done for the year, Jax will be the go to guy), Maclin and then Fitz (Awful offense, awful team so not much expected outta him).

Good luck, and enjoy the Holidays!

  5. Hey guys...Thanks for the advice last week. In the finals in all 3 money leagues.
This week I need help with 1 wr and flex spot in ppr.
Pick 2: T. Choice, Bess, J. Webb, Knox, B. White, Addai?

What can we expect out of Addai this week? And is Marion Barber going to cut into Choices' carries? Currently I've got Webb at WR and Choice at flex.
    Thanks guys

  6. @ Smitty - It doesn't seem to be clear at exactly what Barbers role will be on Saturday. They said he might strictly get goalline carries but Choice has shined at that with 3 tds in his last 4 games. I dont think he will be enough of a factor to decrease the value of Choice or Jones. As for Addai they said 15 touches at best, as he'll split time with Donald Brown.

After watching Webb against the Bears I wouldn't consider using him because he's awful, I'd go with Blair White with Collie done for the year. Then I'd start Choice at Flex. However if your nervous about the return of Barber hurting Choice's value then start White and take a risk starting Webb in hopes that he turns things around against Philly.

    Good luck!!

  7. @LiLbRo

thanks for the feedback! i am still really contemplating the rb/wr choices...

i definitely like the three you recommended (but have a lot of faith in b marshall this week v the lions) call me crazy but i am almost contemplating sitting djax as i wouldnt be surpised if they built an early lead and rested the starters for at least the 4th quarter...

I have bradshaw on my bench and yes the pack have only allowed 5 tds, but man bradshaw is a big reason I am where I am and its tough to turn my back on him now... im definitely starting torain, and with blount at least i can be sure to capitalize some way if tampa puts up pts as i am starting freeman, but im just skeptical...

still standing firm on your original recommendations?

  8. I have a good RB situation this week. Which two should I start in a PPR league. Torain, Rashad Jennings since MOJO is out, Blount, or Choice. Pick two in a PPR league.

  9. @ Mark - I'm going to stick with my original recommendations, however it is your squad, and if you feel like you should play the guys who got you this far then go for it. Can't be mad if you lose with guys as good as Bradshaw and Marshall, either way you have a number of good options to work with!

  10. @ Sethius - If MJD is out then deff start Jennings. He's been a great backup this year with limited touches. This will be his time to shine against an awful run defense. The other back I would go with is Blount. Yea he doesn't get catches out of the backfield like you would hope in a PPR league but hes got a GREAT matchup in a game they should win big which means he should find paydirt a few times.

  11. LiLbRo thanks! and happy holidays ! (i do apologize for the indecisiveness every time I over think I lose) I think I am going to bench train and garcon... well see how it goes mate!

  12. With the extra 2 days rest, but still a questionable tag, should I start AP or should I play it safe and put in Turner tonight?

26.8 point lead with Vick and (AP or Turner) vs Brees, Akers and DeSean Jackson...Non PPR League

  13. @ Tmac - Id go with Turner. Cant expect much out of THE Vikings offense without Favre under center. Plus AP is still banged up. Turner is always solid.
