Eagles/Vikings Game Postponed

And now we know that the NFL will be postponing today's Eagles-Vikings game.
Philadelphia-based NFL writer Adam Caplan of FOX Sports tweets that the Eagles have said the game is postponed until Tuesday night.
In this case, at this point, the postponement has little to do with whether or not the game will be playable and much to do with the safety of fans.
The game will be played Tuesday at 8 p.m. Eastern, according to NFL Network. And while that's not a great thing for Eagles fans that might have planned to been on hand to cheer on Michael Vick tonight and will now have to figure out how to make a weeknight game work, it might produce a better game for them.
After all, Brett Favre, seemingly ailing with more injuries than there are varieties of snowflakes, now has 48 hours to get healthy. And regardless of your opinions on Favre, him playing is still a more exciting prospect than rookie Joe Webb starting.

Big Ben Undergoes Surgey on Broken Nose

USA Today - Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will require surgery on his broken nose.

He was set to undergo the surgery on Monday after suffering the injury on Sunday night against the Ravens. He is also suffering from a foot injury.

"It hurt a lot," Roethlisberger said of his foot pain, "but the broken nose took some of the pain away."

Roethlisberger's nose was injured on a sack by Ravens defenders Terrell Suggs and Haloti Ngata.

Hate him or love him, Ben Roethlisberger is a beast.  The dude went up against one of the most physical defenses in all of football with a fractured foot, and then breaks his nose (evidence here) 3 minutes into the game but stays in and leads the Steelers over the Ravens with a late score in another close low scoring hard hitting game between the two teams and giving the Steelers first place.

Dez Bryant's Season is Over

45 catches, 561 yards and 6 TDs later, the electric Cowboys rookie season has come to an end.  During a kickoff, Bryant was tackled around the ankles, and fractured his right ankle.

Bryant also had returned 2 punts for TDs

Ben Roethlisberger has a broken foot

Big Ben has a broken foot, not a sprained foot which was originally reported.  However he still expects to play this Sunday night in a huge game against the Baltimore Ravens.  If you have another QB on your team you might want to start them just incase Big Ben does play but cant finish the game, not to mention this should be a low scoring game as usual.

Earlier this week, one Baltimore columnist called Ben Roethlisberger out for creating extra drama before every Ravens-Steelers game by coming up with a new injury.  The drama was only getting started.
Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Roethlisberger will play through a broken foot Sunday.  He reportedly suffered a broken fifth metatarsal bone in the first quarter of last week’s win over the Bills.
The Steelers have said that Big Ben just has a foot sprain.  He’s participated in practice the last two days and is fully expected to start.

UPDATE: Frank Gore Fractures Hip - Out For Season

Sacramento Bee - 49ers coach Mike Singletary wants the tandem of rookie running back Anthony Dixon and veteran rusher Brian Westbrook to combine to replace the injured Frank Gore.
San Francisco lost Gore for the remainder of the season with a hip injury suffered in Monday night's win over Arizona.
Singletary wants Dixon to display a brusing style to complement Westbrook's dashing efforts.
In effect, he wants them to become a "Thunder & Lightning" tandem.
