What to do with Chris Johnson

With this hold out looking to go into the regular season, what should Chris Johnson owners do?  I myself have Johnson in a keeper league and am asking myself this question everyday.  Should I release his keeper status and go after someone else with a first round pick?  Should I look to trade him?  Should I just keep him and let it ride?  There are many ways to handle this situation, but only one that really makes sense.

Keep him.

Even if he doesn't play until week 5, 6 or even 7, it really doesn't hurt you having him sitting on your roster.  If he is not playing, that mean Javon Ringer is.  Draft/pick up Ringer, and just wait.  You will not need Johnson's roster spot until you find yourself in a week with 2 or 3 players on a bye.  Johnson will return eventually and he is way to talented to not have on your roster.

If you can not get Javon Ringer, there are plenty of RB options that can help your team, like backup Willis McGehee who is getting all goal line carries for the Broncos.

If you have any questions regarding Johnson's situation, leave a comment and we will let you know what your best option is.
