Fantasy Football Pickups for Week 3

Are you in need of some assistance on who to pickup to help bolster your roster? Here are some players who we think can make a positive impact on your fantasy squad, who are still available in most leagues.

Must Haves
Thomas Jones (RB) - Jamaal Charles is done for the year and McCluster is not an every down back.  Jones will get enough carries to warrant starts each week.

Eric Decker (WR) - It is hard to know which WR will break out each season, but Decker is proving this is his year.  With Lloyd out, Decker stepped up and scored twice.  If Lloyd continues to miss games, Decker will continue to come up big.

Scott Chandler (TE) - 3 TDs in 2 games and a favorite option of your QB are all positives for Chandler.

Solid Pickups
Cam Newton - With the Bye Weeks coming, you will need to replace your starting QB.  Newton has put up back to back 400 yard weeks, and while the Panthers are 0-2, Newton is a top 5 QB in most leagues.

David Nelson (WR) - Like Chandler, Nelson is taking advantage of the Bills powerful offense.  With 14 receptions in 2 games, Nelson is a great play in PPR leagues.

Good For A Week
Jesse Holley and Kevin Ogletree - (WR) - If Miles Austin is out next week, and Dez Bryant is still hurt, Holley and Ogletree are due for huge games.  If none of the above receivers are available, pick up Holley or Ogletree and enjoy the free points.  Even if Romo does not play, Kitna knows how to get the ball to his receivers.

Players to Watch
Brandon Lafell (WR) - If Cam Newton continues to throw for 400 yards a game, someone besides Steve Smith will have to be on the receiving end.

Daniel Thomas (RB) - After missing Week 1, the rookie made his debut Week 2 racking up over 100 yards on just 18 carries.  If he continues to run the ball this effectively, he could steal a ton of carries away from Reggie Bush.
