Have a dilemma at RB/WR? Cant figure out which player to start? Leave your question in the comment section and we will hook you up with the right answer!

If we have given you a suggestion as to who you should play, please reply on Monday or Tuesday and let us know what you did and if it worked!

Fav QB Matchup -Tom Brady @ Dolphins - No defense is ever prepared for Mr. Brady.  The Dolphins were one of the worst against the pass last season and Channing Crowder's sudden retirement is a huge blow to this team.
  • Well that was something else huh?  Greatest game of TB's life!  Look out NFL.  Oh wait, nevermind they were playing the Dolphins, I forgot.  Note to self: Start anyone who is playing the Dolphins.
Fav RB Matchup - Jamaal Charles vs Bills - Seeing more touches means seeing more open field.  The Bills were the worst against the run last season and they did not do to much to fix that in the offseason.
  • When was the last time the Chiefs finished a game with a 2:1 pass to run ratio?  I am not sure why they only rushed the ball 18 times but it CLEARLY is not how this team will win games this season.  Charles took 10 carries for 56 yards and caught 5 passes for 9 yards.  The Cheifs averaged 6 yards a carry as a team and decided it was better to throw the ball.

Fav WR Matchup - Andre Johnson vs Colts - No Peyton Manning means the Texans will be on the field more than usual.  Plus who can name me the Colts CBs?
  • Even on an off day for his QB, Johnson still catches 7 passes for 95 yards and a TD.
Fav TE Matchup - Jared Cook @ Jaguars- I can't just name all the top players at each position.  But week 1 is hard to tell who has meshed and what offense is rolling and which defense is struggling.  Jared Cook is one of a few players this season I am looking forward to watching develop.
  • The Titans oddly threw the ball 33 times and 24 targets went to Britt(10) Washington(7) Johnson(7).  The other 9 got split between 5 others.  Cook caught just 1 of the 2 ball thrown his way for 7 yards.

Fav DEF Matchup - Cleveland Browns vs Bengals - Butterflies will get the best of both rookie QB Andy Dalton and stud WR AJ Green, plus the Browns should do a good job controlling the ball, limiting the Bengals opportunities.
  • Dalton was a cool 10/15 for under 100 yards with a TD before getting hurt and AJ Green's lone catch was a 41 yard TD.  But the Browns managed to lose a game in which they allowed less than 300 yards on offense, and injured their opponents starting QB.  Also, the Bengals scored twice in the 4th with less than 5 minutes on the clock.

Upset of the Week
St. Louis Rams vs Philadelphia Eagles

Pick 6
Browns vs Bengals
Chiefs vs Bills
Titans @ Jaguars
Texans vs Colts
Chargers vs Vikings
Patriots @ Dolphins

  1. I'm in a 12 man NON PPR league. I have all my starters set except my flex. My line up is below

    QB - Roethlisberger
    WR - Wayne
    WR - Marshall
    RB - Foster
    RB - Gore
    TE - Witten
    W/R - Hightower or R. Bush?

I change my def and kicker every week based on who they are playing. What do you think of my line up for a 12 man league with 1st pick, and who should I use as a flex?

  2. Also, should I go for the Browns def instead of Arizona vs Panthers?

  3. hey whats up guys im not sure who to start at TE this week Aaron Hernandez or Lance Kendricks??

  4. Sethius - Reggie Bush should see way more snaps than Hightower with all those RBs in Washington.  So I would go with Bush @ the Flex...but you dont have any other options there?

Def go with the Browns defense.  The Panthers can and will run the ball.

Pistol Pete - Aaron Hernandez def.  I love Kendricks but game 1 for a rookie is never a good play.

  5. Here is a link to a Yahoo story with a write up on Kendricks, but I would still play Hernandez

  6. Yes, I have other options that I can use. Mainly WR's Malcom Floyd, Hines Ward, James Jones. I have Ben Tate taking up a spot since I have Foster. Any of those over Bush?

  7. Hi I am in a PPR league facing the top rated opponent week 1, and given matchups/ injuries using RB1 - Charles
    WR1 - Roddy White.

need RB2, WR2, and Flex from the following

Forte, R Bush, R Brown, and
Wayne, Welker, S Johnson, and Amendola

help please? in praticular would like to hear your logic on the picks. Thanks! Mike

  8. I say keep Bush because Floyd is the #3 option(4 if you include RB) and Bush should not only catch some screen passes but has the advantage of being handed the ball.

  9. Forte takes the RB2 spot and Welker has to get the #2 WR because its to early to trust Wayne/Collins. But I would throw Wayne in the Flex over Johnson/Amendola and Bush.

  14. First, thanks again for all your help last year. So happy for football season to be back.

Now down to business. I'm pretty comfortable with this lineup, but as usual, I'm waffling over the flex. (10 Team, PPR)

    QB-Brady
    WR-D. Jackson, K. Britt
    RB-R. Mendenhall, S. Greene
    TE-K. Winslow
    W/R-P. Harvin
    DEF-SF

    BENCH
    W. McGahee
    L. Tomlinson
    B. Green-Ellis
    L. Moore
    M. Tolbert
    B. Edwards

    Thanks
    JSHAN

  15. JSHAN - Thanks for coming back we appreciate you trusting us.  You are def playing all the right guys.  Even in Moore was healthy, Harvin should get the start over him.

  16. 10 Things from last night.

1.) James Starks looks like the better RB.
2.) Greg Jennings put the team on his back.
3.) Jordy Nelson is going to catch more passes than James Jones and Donald Driver.
4.) Randall Cobb is worth a roster spot.
    5.) Jermichael Finley is awesome.
6.) The Saints are going to split carries between Ingram and Thomas until someone becomes the clear favorite.
7.) Darren Sproles is going to make a difference.
8.) Robert Meachem/Devery Henderson are two of the most underrated WRs in the league.
9.) Jimmy Graham needs to learn when to wear the belt, but he is awesome.
10.) Where does Lance Moore fit in when he returns?

  17. Whats up guys i need some help....should i start Roy Williams or Steve Breaston...or should i pick up Malcolm Floyd from free agency and start him??

    ReplyDelete
  18. floyd is the more popular player and is predicted to have more points than the other two. I don't think anyone really likes having Roy Williams on their team and Breaston's first game on a running offense needs to be monitored....Pick up Floyd, I would drop Williams .
