Fantasy Football Week 1 - Welcome Home

Have a dilemma at RB/WR? Cant figure out which player to start? Leave your question in the comment section and we will hook you up with the right answer!

If we have given you a suggestion as to who you should play, please reply on Monday or Tuesday and let us know what you did and if it worked!

Fav QB Matchup -Tom Brady @ Dolphins - No defense is ever prepared for Mr. Brady.  The Dolphins were one of the worst against the pass last season and Channing Crowder's sudden retirement is a huge blow to this team.
  • Well that was something else huh?  Greatest game of TB's life!  Look out NFL.  Oh wait, nevermind they were playing the Dolphins, I forgot.  Note to self: Start anyone who is playing the Dolphins.
Fav RB Matchup - Jamaal Charles vs Bills - Seeing more touches means seeing more open field.  The Bills were the worst against the run last season and they did not do to much to fix that in the offseason.
  • When was the last time the Chiefs finished a game with a 2:1 pass to run ratio?  I am not sure why they only rushed the ball 18 times but it CLEARLY is not how this team will win games this season.  Charles took 10 carries for 56 yards and caught 5 passes for 9 yards.  The Cheifs averaged 6 yards a carry as a team and decided it was better to throw the ball.

Fav WR Matchup - Andre Johnson vs Colts - No Peyton Manning means the Texans will be on the field more than usual.  Plus who can name me the Colts CBs?
  • Even on an off day for his QB, Johnson still catches 7 passes for 95 yards and a TD.
Fav TE Matchup - Jared Cook @ Jaguars- I can't just name all the top players at each position.  But week 1 is hard to tell who has meshed and what offense is rolling and which defense is struggling.  Jared Cook is one of a few players this season I am looking forward to watching develop.
  • The Titans oddly threw the ball 33 times and 24 targets went to Britt(10) Washington(7) Johnson(7).  The other 9 got split between 5 others.  Cook caught just 1 of the 2 ball thrown his way for 7 yards.

Fav DEF Matchup - Cleveland Browns vs Bengals - Butterflies will get the best of both rookie QB Andy Dalton and stud WR AJ Green, plus the Browns should do a good job controlling the ball, limiting the Bengals opportunities.
  • Dalton was a cool 10/15 for under 100 yards with a TD before getting hurt and AJ Green's lone catch was a 41 yard TD.  But the Browns managed to lose a game in which they allowed less than 300 yards on offense, and injured their opponents starting QB.  Also, the Bengals scored twice in the 4th with less than 5 minutes on the clock.

Upset of the Week
St. Louis Rams vs Philadelphia Eagles

Pick 6
Browns vs Bengals
Chiefs vs Bills
Titans @ Jaguars
Texans vs Colts
Chargers vs Vikings
Patriots @ Dolphins
