Fav QB Matchup – Jay Cutler vs Vikings - As mentioned last week, the Vikings are not very good against the Pass.  If Cutler has time, which is rare, he can be great.  He will be great this week.
  • 21 Completions, 2 TDs 267 Yards, 115.9 QB Rtg, Only sacked once.

Fav RB Matchup – Redskins vs Eagles - Who really knows who will carry the ball in Washington, but all 3 guys are capable of beating the Eagles defense.  Time of possession will be key in the game, if the Redskins want to stay atop the NFC East.
  • Not sure why but the Redskins only ran the ball 14 times(42 yards)!  They allowed Rex Grossman to throw 4 INTs before benching him instead of doing what the Redskins do best.  Very strange.
Fav WR Matchup – Dez Bryant @ Patriots - The Cowboys may not have the opportunity to run the ball much in this game as the Pats will score at least 40 on them.  Bryant should put up gaudy numbers in a losing effort this week for the Cowboys, but he will help you win your matchup this week.
  • In what most thought would be a shootout, turned out to be a pretty boring(until the 4th qtr), sloppy game.  Bryant did lead the Boys in receiving yards however, with 78, but with just 4 catches and no TD it wasn't the best fantasy game.

Fav TE Matchup – Tony Gonzalez vs Panthers - Year after year TG does his thing.  This matchup against the Panthers should be like a run through at practice for the ageless wonder.
  • Caught every ball thrown his way, unfortunately it was just 3 times for 29 yards.

Fav DEF Matchup – Packers vs Rams - No explanation needed.
  • Only 3 points allowed, 3 sacks and an INT
Upset of the Week (2-3)
Redskins vs Eagles

Pick 6 (21-9)
Packers vs Rams
Falcons vs Panthers
Bengals vs Colts
Steelers vs Jaguars
Patriots vs Cowboys
Bears vs Vikings

  1. Hmm. I was thinking the Minny defense would be a good start against the Bears, after seeing how often the Lions got to him and given how good the Vikings defensive line has been playing (and their secondary last game, but granted that was against the Cards).

  2. Even still, they are allowing 271 yards a game in the air. I can see Forte catching another 10 passes this week on screens and such off the blitz. But I was wrong last week thinking the Cardinals could dominate the Vikings so lets see if they do me wrong again.

  3. Still rolling strong. 5-0 in my big money league. I played your cards this past Sunday, only switching out Lance Moore for Ingram which turned out nice. Give me your opinion this week. 10 team ppr half point league.

    Lineup:

    QB
    WR
    WR
    WR
    RB
    RB
    TE
    W/T
    W/R/T
    K
    D

    Roster:

    QB - Newton, Stafford
WR - Wallace, Bryant, Holmes, AJ Green, Cruz, Moore
RB - Rice, McCoy, Bradshaw, Ingram
    TE - Hernandez, Olsen
    K - Kasey
    DST - Vikings

Again, Newton or Stafford? Still getting burned by benching Newton. Cruz over Holmes? Thanks guys

  4. Pick 3 RB's for my PPR league

    Benson
    Hillis
    F. Jones
    Torain

Also, in my NON PPR league:

Should I start Hightower over Heyward-Bey at Flex?

  5. Olliver here is how you go 6-0

    QB – Stafford
You are not getting burned here as Stafford is a stud. Plus noone else is getting Newton's points.

    WR - Wallace
    WR - Bryant
    WR - Cruz
I pick Cruz here as he has been a favourite of Eli’s, even with Mario Manningham back. The Bills will score points and the Giants will have to air it out to keep it close.

    RB - Rice
    RB - McCoy
    Clearly your two best RBs

    TE - Hernandez
Olsen is a nice play too, but Aaron Hernandez is Brady’s second favourite option.

    W/T – Green
    W/R/T - Holmes
Could play Bradshaw over Holmes, but I get the feeling that the Jets open the playbook this week after all the boo birds going Schottenheimer’s way.

    K - Kasey
    D - Vikings

  6. In the PPR league, your choice. All 4 will put up points this week. You should do some research and see which matchup you think is best.

    I personally would sit Hillis.

    Non PPR -
Hightower has a shoulder thing, so go with H-Bey

  7. interesting picks...i definitely see the upside. I will start Stafford then again this week. Your logic makes sense that technically he is not giving any of my opponents points.

Bradshaw or Holmes is going to be the tricky play. Guess I'll flip a coin on Sunday.

  8. Pick two out of 3 WR's for a NON PPR league

    Wayne
    Marshall
    Heyward-Bey

  9. Sethius I just can't see playing Marshall this week especially after he said he plans on getting ejected.

Wayne and heyward-bey are your only options.

No bench players or free agents?
