Fantasy Football Pickups for Week 9

With 4 teams on a bye, are you in need of some assistance on who to pickup to help bolster your roster? Here are some players who we think can make a positive impact on your fantasy squad, who are still available in most leagues.

Must Haves
Brandon Jacbos RB - With Ahmad Bradshaw out indefinitely, and possibly needing surgery, Jacobs will finally get his wish.  He is the starting RB again in NY and should put up big numbers as he has a lot to prove.

Jonathan Baldwin WR – He has all the talent in the world on the field, just needs to keep his head straight off the field.  He made himself known on MNF and impressed with 5 catches, 82 yards and a RIDICULOUS TD. Pick him up before someone else does!

Solid Pickups
Laurent Robinson WR – He is not Jason Witten, Miles Austin or Dez Bryant.  That is why he is open all the time.  He has two 100 yard games in the past 4 weeks tallying 16 catches over that span.  Keep him on your roster until the BYE weeks are over.

Good For A Week
Chris Ogbonnaya RB – He did well filling in for Hardesty who was filling in for Hillis.  This could happen again this week as the status of both RBs are unknown.

Players to Watch
Jordan Todman RB – Talked about him this preseason and now with injuries to Ryan Matthews, Mike Tolbert and Curtis Brinkley, Todman should get a shot.

Steve Slaton RB – He got to play while Daniel Thomas nursed an injury.  That will happen often from here on out.  Same goes for Reggie Bush.  The Dolphins are terrible, but Steve Slaton was once a top fantasy RB.
