Must Haves
Daniel Thomas (RB) - It did not take long for Thomas to take over the RB duties in Miami. Reggie Bush had a great season opener and has been absent since. Thomas has gained 202 rushing yards in his two weeks of play and he has added a receiving TD.

Fav QB Matchup – Cam Newton vs Jacksonville – Back to Back 400 yard games should be backed up with another 300+ yard game against the Jaguars. Newton has been impressive in his first two starts, and deserves a win.
- They did get the win, but the weather was horrendous and led to a 18/34 for just 158 yards with a TD.

Fantasy Football Pickups for Week 3
Are you in need of some assistance on who to pickup to help bolster your roster? Here are some players who we think can make a positive impact on your fantasy squad, who are still available in most leagues.
Must Haves
Thomas Jones (RB) - Jamaal Charles is done for the year and McCluster is not an every down back. Jones will get enough carries to warrant starts each week.
Eric Decker (WR) - It is hard to know which WR will break out each season, but Decker is proving this is his year. With Lloyd out, Decker stepped up and scored twice. If Lloyd continues to miss games, Decker will continue to come up big.

Fav QB Matchup – Aaron Rodgers @ Panthers – Cam Newton will not want to remember this game as he goes 3 and out nearly every possession. That leaves Aaron Rodgers plenty of time to find his receivers and light up the score board in a lopsided win.
- 308 yards, 2 TDs is nice but could have been better.

UPDATE - Rams Danny Amendola - Dislocated Elbow
UPDATE -
The Rams did not just lose a football game last night to one of the top teams in the league. They lost Steven Jackson after just two rushing attempts and they lost WR Danny Amendola, possibly for the season, after he dislocated his elbow falling down after making a catch. Fox had the coverage of the game, and when they returned from commercial, they said that the replay was too gruesome and unnecessary to show again. They probably made the right decision not showing it.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Danny Amendola "wants" to play Monday night against the Giants, despite a severely dislocated left elbow suffered in last week's loss to Philadelphia.Turf Show Times with the Pic

Fav QB Matchup -Tom Brady @ Dolphins - No defense is ever prepared for Mr. Brady. The Dolphins were one of the worst against the pass last season and Channing Crowder's sudden retirement is a huge blow to this team.

- Well that was something else huh? Greatest game of TB's life! Look out NFL. Oh wait, nevermind they were playing the Dolphins, I forgot. Note to self: Start anyone who is playing the Dolphins.

Marques Colston Suffers Broken Collarbone
Last night in the Packers 42-34 win over the Saints, WR Marques Colston broke his collarbone on the final drive. Colston made a diving catch deep inside Packers territory setting up a possible game tying touchdown in the finals seconds. The injury occurred when he dove for the ball and landed awkwardly on his shoulder. Doctors are saying Colston should be out about 4 weeks, as that's the normal healing time, but if it doesn't heal as quickly as they think Colston could miss more time.
If available you should now add Robert Meachem or Devery Henderson as they both scored a TD in last night's game and will be the main targets for quarterback Drew Brees going forward without Colston. Also keep an eye on injured WR Lance Moore who sat out the opener with a groin injury. He scored 8 TDs last year for the Saints and if he's able to go next week should see a lot of targets.

Boys Making Noise in the Preseason
Every year, players dominate the preseason, but rarely do they make an impact in fantasy land. However, with so many teams running with a committee in the backfield and holding on to those extra receivers to spread the field, some of these guys might actually be able to help during the regular season. Do not draft any of these guys, but keep an eye on them.
