EAST
(1) Bulls vs (8) Philadelphia 76ers - Philly will have to play perfect basketball in order to beat the Bulls.  Even with an injured Derrick Rose, the Bulls are just a much better team.  Bulls in 6
Reader Predictions: 100% of the voters believed the Bulls will beat the 76ers.

(2) Heat vs (7) Knicks - The Knicks played the Heat well this season, minus the one game with Jeremy Lin.  There is no Linsanity this time around, and Carmelo Anthony is playing like the leagues best player at the moment.  I want to call the upset here but Heat in 7
Reader Predictions: 97% of the voters believe the Heat will beat the Knicks.

(3) Pacers vs (6) Magic - Had this matchup featured Dwight Howard, I would say Magic in 7.  This series could provide some boring basketball.  Indiana should be able to hold off the Magic and win in 6.
Reader Predictions: 63% of the voters believe the Pacers will beat the Magic.  However, since Dwight Howard was ruled out, not one vote was for the Magic.

(4) Celtics vs (5) Hawks - This series could go either way and Josh Smith vs Kevin Garnett should be a lot of fun to watch.  Neither team has a center so there will be a ton of awkward lineups during this 7 game series.  In the end, the team that has won it all will win again.  Celtics in 7
Reader Predictions: 63% of the voters believe the Celtics will beat the Hawks.

WEST
(1) San Antonio Spurs vs (8) Utah Jazz - Combined these two teams won over 50 games at their home courts.  You can expect a 7 game series here with no road wins.  Spurs in 7
Reader Predictions:98% of the voters believe the Spurs will beat the Jazz.

(2) Oklahoma City Thunder vs (7) Dallas Mavericks - This could turn into a shooting clinic featuring Kevin Durant and Dirk Nowitzki.  The speed and defense of the Thunder will be to much for the Mavericks to handle.  Thunder in 6
Reader Predictions: 98% of the voters believe the Thunder will beat the Mavericks

(3) Los Angeles Lakers vs (6) Denver Nuggets - Should be fun to watch JaVale McGee guard Andrew Bynum.  Kobe and Co. will take it in 5.
Reader Predictions: 88% of the voters believe the Lakers will beat the Nuggets.

(4) Memphis Grizzlies vs (5) Los Angeles Clippers - This will be the most entertaining series in the West.  Both teams run the fast break so well, this series is bound to have tons of highlight plays.  Gotta go with CP3 and his leadership ability to take the Grizzlies in 7.
Reader Predictions: 63% of the voters believe that the Clippers will beat the Grizzlies.

Who do you think will win the NBA Championship?
Reader Predictions:
Eastern Conf Finals -  67% believe the Heat win the East.  20% believe it will be the Bulls
Western Conf Finals - 80% believe the Thunder will win the West.
NBA Finals - 39% believe the Thunder win the Title. 34% believe the Heat win the Title. 11% believe the Bulls win the Title

The Jazz are now 1/2 a game up on the Suns and Rockets with just 3 games left for the Jazz and 4 for the Suns/Rockets.  The Jazz play the Suns on Tuesday the 24th.  MUST SEE TV.  The Rockets get the Hornets two more times before the regular season ends.  Will they play spoiler?  The Suns have the toughest schedule with home games against the Clippers, Nuggets and Spurs and a road game in Utah.

  • (8) Philadelphia 76ers are now the (7)
4/10 Seeding Changes - The Spurs now find themselves hosting the Dallas Mavericks in the first round, while the Thunder get the Denver Nuggets.  I think both teams would rather face the Mavericks, but the Mavericks would much rather play the Spurs.  What do you guys think?
