Fantasy Football Week 7 Player Rankings

Each week fantasy owners are left with gut wrenching decisions when finalizing their starting lineups.  Should I sit Wilson this week for Weeden?  Is this the week that Doug Martin finally breaks out?  Can I trust Crabtree against the Seahawks?  Is Jimmy Graham 100%?  You fill you roster with waiver wire moves and feel obligated to play them but are they really your BEST option?

With some help from our friends over at Fantasy Football Today we used their Strength of Schedule Generator, based on our custom scoring from our fantasy league, and came up with player rankings based solely on fantasy points allowed by position.  We looked at the amount of fantasy points allowed over the entire season and averaged them out with fantasy points allowed over the last 3 weeks and came up with the following rankings:

If you are forced to start Russell Wilson this week I would be VERY careful and explore ALL options!  The 49ers coming off a loss is a scary thought!  If Troy Polamalu is out this week against the Bengals, Andy Dalton and A.J. Green are in for a big day!

Arian Foster should be boosted a bit this week as the Ravens will be without Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb.  The way the Lions offense has been going and the Bears defense has been scoring, this might be a GREAT week to sit LeShoure.

Even without Revis the Jets defense has done a great job against the pass.  Antonio Cromartie on an injured Brandon Lloyd should mean a TON of targets for Wes Welker.  Hemight be at the bottom of this list, but he is on FIRE as of late.  Reggie Wayne was shut down last week by Cromartie, and has to go up against Joe Haden, but A.J. Green proved last week that it is possible to score on him...TWICE!

It's a damn shame that the Chargers have a BYE week after Antonio Gates remembered how to play football.  That being said, Having Jimmy Graham and Kyle Rudolph with such tough matchup on a week where 6 teams have a BYE might hurt a bunch of teams sitting a top their divisions.
