Fantasy Football Week 9 - Waiver Wire Pickups

Must Haves
Titus Young WR (59% owned) - One of the hottest additions to rosters this week, Young grabbed 9 catches for 100 yards and 2 scores against the Seahawks proved to the coaching staff he is capable of replacing Nate Burleson.

Solid Pickups

Santana Moss WR (61% owned) - 3 TDs in 2 weeks against the Giants and Steelers? A matchup against the Panthers?  Sign me up!

Chris Givens WR (13% owned) - The rookie out of Wake Forest has really clicked with Sam Bradford the last 3 weeks taking 9 catches 221 yards and scoring last week against the Patriots.  The kick returns area plus as well.  Rams have a BYE this week but Givens could help down the road.

Jeremy Kerley WR (53% owned) - With the Jets on a BYE this week, Kerley will be an afterthought.  Wait until waivers clear and then stash him.  He has 12 catches for 163 yards the last 2 weeks and the Jets play the Jaguars and Titans in back to back weeks late in the season, week 14 and 15, most likely playoff game for your fantasy league.
Good For A Week

Lions Defense @ Jaguars (48% owned) - The Jags are arguably the leagues worst offense without MJD.

Jonathan Stewart RB (73% owned) - 17 carries last week is GREAT sign for things to come.  Carolina is rumored to be moving towards a power running game and DeAngelo Williams is rumored to be on the trading block.  If DWill does get traded, upgrade Stewart to Solid Pickup, but don't expect GREAT rushing numbers for a while.

Players to Watch

Mike Thomas WR (1% owned) - The Detroit Lions have just acquired Mike Thomas and the veteran receiver should get some chances to show off his talents in Detroit, but with Young and Broyles ahead of him, Thomas will have to learn the playbook QUICK!
