Raymond Felton Broken Pinkie - Out 4-6 Weeks

When the Knicks re-signed Raymond Felton this offseason, he was returning to a team that had traded him in part of a package deal for Carmelo Anthony.  Felton fumbled his way through Denver and Portland before returning to Manhattan, where the fans never really wanted to see him go.  Yes the Knicks got a superstar talent in Carmelo Anthony, but Felton was loved by Knicks fans.  So as the city welcomed him back with open arms, Felton once again met and exceeded all expectations.  He has been running a great pick and roll with Tyson Chandler and has been creating his own shots as well when Carmelo Anthony has needed a breather or has missed a game with random injuries.  Well now Raymond will miss some time with a broken pinkie and the New York Knicks will turn to 38 year old veteran guard, Jason Kidd (70% owned Yahoo) and your fantasy team should too!

Jason Kidd went 2002 on us last night and dropped 23 points (5 threes) on the Pheonix Suns while grabbing 6 rebounds and handing out 8 assists with just a single turnover.  Now I would not expect this night in and night  out as Carmelo Anthony did not play in this one, but Kidd is def good for at least 10 points with a couple 3s, 5 rebounds and 5 assists per game.  Only Russell Westbrook, Rajon Rondo and Kyle Lowry are putting up those types of numbers.

Now obviously at 70% owned, Jason Kidd isn't necessarily available in your league, but Jarrett Jack (58%) probably is!  Jack hasn't started a game all year but he is seeing over 27 minutes per game and has 2 20 point outings in his last 4 contests while making at least one 3 pointer in 11 straight games (20 total).  On top of the scoring, Jack has 6+ assists in 3 of his last 5 including two nights in double figures!  What I am trying to say is that during the month of December, Jarret Jack's game log looks exactly like Raymond Felton's!

Other options than can help:

• Rodney Stuckey (43%) - Over his last 4 games Stuckey is averaging 14.5 points and 7 assists
• Alexey Shved (23%) - Over his last 5 games Shved is averaging 10 points and 6.4 assists. We love Shved!
• Ramon Sessions (52%) - Over his last 5 games Sessions is averaging 15 points and 3.4 assists on better than 50% shooting
