Top NBA Plays for Today

This Saturday we are going to take very lightly because of our rough performance last night. It was bound to happen, so no worries, but to stay in the green we don’t like to get crazy after a bad losing day. Anyone that didn’t have David Lee or Stephen Curry probably lost last night in what was a very weird night of fantasy basketball. A ton of early blowouts and some players getting ejected made for an odd slate of early games. Today we bring it you our top plays at each position.

Point Guard:
  1. Stephen Curry
  2. Kyrie Irving
  3. Jordan Crawford
Stephen Curry is playing lights out in December, and has put up 49 points or more in three of the last four games. LAL versus GS should be very high scoring tonight. Kyrie is trending downward scoring less and less in each of the last four, but this matchup against the Bucks is very nice and put up 38 points against them when they last played. Crawford’s cockiness and skill are really showing up right now, and for those who noticed his mid range price are benefiting. He has put up 35+ in each of the last three and put up 39 points against the Pistons last night.

Shooting Guard:
  1. Kobe Bryant
  2. James Harden
  3. Nicolas Batum
Kobe has scored 50 fantasy points or more in 7 of the last 10 games which is why his price is so high. He could be very well worth it with the kind of game we’re going to see in Golden State tonight. James Harden has gotten hot and will be at home tonight. He has put up 40 or more in 7 straight games. Batum is back from injury and killed it last game. He put up 42 fantasy points in that game and made 5 three pointers.

Small Forward:
  1. Paul George
  2. Rudy Gay
  3. Klay Thompson
Paul George had an off game last night, but still put up 31 fantasy points. Rudy Gay has a great matchup going against one of the worst defenses in the NBA, the Houston Rockets. He has put up 34+ points in each of the last two games. Klay Thompson is a cheaper player in a game we think could reach 230 total points. Can’t go wrong there.

Power Forward:
  1. David Lee
  2. Joakim Noah
  3. JJ Hickson
David Lee went for a triple double last night and has put up over 40 fantasy points in each of the last ten games. When you look up the word consistent in the dictionary his face is there. Joakim Noah didn’t play his usual minutes due to getting thrown out, and he’s already fine on back to back days, so don’t be afraid to play him here. JJ Hickson has dominated since Aldridge has been out and if he’s out again he’s another great play for his price.

Center:
  1. Dwight Howard
  2. Zach Randolph
  3. Larry Sanders
Dwight Howard plays against the Warriors and they really don’t have a big man that can close to stopping him. We foresee a lot of free throw attempts for Howard tonight. Zach Randolph has four double doubles in a row and is almost as consistent as Lee. Larry Sanders had a monster game going for a big double double and 53 fantasy points. Varejao is out, so the matchup has become very juicy for him as long as he gets minutes.
