NFL Lineup for Draftstreet

Not everybody plays Draftkings (we highly suggest you do), and if they do, they play other sites like DraftDay or Draftstreet. Today we give to you a Draftstreet lineup that we really like. The difference between the two sites are the player positions. On DS, there are 2 QB slots which changes everything. Salary and managing your value plays is critical to filling your lineup optimally. Here we bring to your how we would fill out our DS roster.

NFL Pro Bowl Snubs

There are so many dynamics to evaluating an NFL defense, that debating who deserves their Pro Bowl selection and who got the short end of it is a debate that should be held by guys who truly understand Xs and Os.  However, on the offensive side of the ball, outside of the offensive lineman, statistics are a great measure for selecting Pro Bowl players.  In both the AFC and NFC, there were players we felt that truly deserved their selections, while others we are left either scratching our heads or could easily debate replacing them with a different player.

Quarterback:
  • Matt Schaub
    • Keith - Nobody thinks of the passing attack when you talk about the Texans offense, everyone knows it revolves around Arian Foster.  Schaub has thrown an unimpressive 22 TDs (same as Carson Palmer and Joe Flacco) while Ryan FitzpatrickBen Roethlisberger (12 games) and Philip Rivers each have more. Just 10 interceptions is VERY impressive but again Flacco has also thrown just 10.  Andrew Luck, Carson Palmer and Joe Flacco all have thrown for more yards and Schaub has averaged less than 250 yards per game.  Funny part is though that I dont even think that Flacco should be the guy here, but you could debate it!  Was QB play in the AFC that bad this season?
    • Michael - In my mind, Matt Schaub did not have a Pro Bowl season. Schaub ranked 7th in the AFC in TDs, 7th in yards per game and 4th in QB rating.  Having arguably the best RB in the game and a top 5 WR, the Texans never relied heavily on Schaub to win games, he was simply a game manager, as he only threw for 300 yards twice this year.  I also look at strength of schedule when deciding if a guy belongs in the Pro Bowl, even though they have no control over who they play.  Houston had the 4th easiest schedule.  There weren't a lot of options at QB for the Pro Bowl outside of Brady and Manning but you can make a case for guys like Flacco, Luck and Dalton.

Raymond Felton Broken Pinkie - Out 4-6 Weeks

When the Knicks re-signed Raymond Felton this offseason, he was returning to a team that had traded him in part of a package deal for Carmelo Anthony.  Felton fumbled his way through Denver and Portland before returning to Manhattan, where the fans never really wanted to see him go.  Yes the Knicks got a superstar talent in Carmelo Anthony, but Felton was loved by Knicks fans.  So as the city welcomed him back with open arms, Felton once again met and exceeded all expectations.  He has been running a great pick and roll with Tyson Chandler and has been creating his own shots as well when Carmelo Anthony has needed a breather or has missed a game with random injuries.  Well now Raymond will miss some time with a broken pinkie and the New York Knicks will turn to 38 year old veteran guard, Jason Kidd (70% owned Yahoo) and your fantasy team should too!

NBA Plays for 12/26

Christmas has come and gone, but daily fantasy NBA is staying strong. We have a big day of games, but a few games that could result in blowouts. There are teams that we will avoid because of that (Spurs and Heat), and a player or two we will take the risk on due to price and split stats (Kemba Walker). With the way pricing is right now on Draftkings, there are tons of value picks, and plenty of 5-7k players that are great plays tonight.

Get To Know Him - Alexey Shved

Living in Connecticut, I obviously do not get many opportunities to watch the Minnesota Timberwolves play, nor did I honestly have any desire to.  But Thursday night I got to watch Ricky Rubio and Kevin Love thanks to TNT.  The Timberwolves handled the Thunder and what I was most impressed with by the end of the night was rookie guard Alexey Shved.  Then on Sunday night, the Knicks hosted the Timberwolves and once again, Shved impressed.  He CLEARLY has learned a thing or two from both Ricky Rubio and JJ Barea as his style of play proves to be a blend of them and his stroke from downtown is beautiful to watch.  So how did this talent make his way to the NBA and how did the Timberwolves land him?

Shved, 23, has spent the last six seasons playing professionally in Russia. In 2011-12, the 6-foot-6 guard averaged 11.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 23 Russian League games with CSKA Moscow. The Belgorod, Russia native was named the 2012 BEKO PBL Playoffs MVP by Sports Express after leading his club to the Russian National Championship, averaging 14.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists while shooting 60.0 percent from beyond the arc during the postseason.  - NBA.com

Fantasy Basketball Week 8 Recap

Last week sent fantasy owners scrambling to replace their injured, or suspended, players like Mo Williams, Glen Davis and DeMarcus Cousins.  Others rejoiced when the INJ was removed from their names and guys like Ricky Rubio, Steve Nash, Kawhi Leonard and Dirk Nowitzki returned to the hardwood.

The Utah Jazz have lost their PG Mo Williams indefinitely due to ligament damage in his right thumb.  The Jazz will turn to veteran guards Earl Watson and Jamal Tinsley.  Both guards are serviceable NBA role players but neither should owned in fantasy.  Look to add Jordan Crawford (66% owned Yahoo) of the Washington Wizards or Jarrett Jack (53%) of the Golden State Warriors.  Crawford has been lighting it up in December with 6 20 point games, including 3 of his last 4 (the other was a 19 point outting).  He has also added a triple double and is averaging 6.5 assists and 5 rebounds per contest.  If Crawford is gone, Jack can provide you with 30 minutes off the bench where in the month of December he is scoring 15.5 points per game while dishing out 6 assists and pulling down 3.9 rebounds per night.  Both of them are gone and still need to replace Mo Williams?  Look for Alexey Shved (21%) of the Minnesota Timberwolves!

20 Team League Crowns Inaugural Champion!

The experiment is complete and we have crowned our 1st ever 20 Team League Champion!  Congrats to GmEn on their extremely tough and unlikley championship!  You can follow him on twitter @jlott3682

How did he do it?  Well it all started with one heck of a draft!  He was drafting with the 16th overall pick in a snake draft and he was able to build his team around Rob Gronkowski (pick 16) and Adrian Peterson (25)!  He took a huge risk on Peterson and boy did it ever pay off!  He then selected Dez Bryant (56) and follow that up with a QB in Philp Rivers (65).  His season savior came in the 10th round with pick 185 when James Jones was selected.  With the injuries to Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson this year, James Jones took full advatange and caught 58 passes for 13 touchdowns!  With 1 game to go in the regular season, Jones is currently the #15 WR in this 20 man PPR league.  Adding that to Dez Bryant's #3 WR ranking and Adrian Peterson #1 RB ranking, you can understand how a team with Philip Rivers (#18 QB) as their QB won the championship.  Let's not forget that first round pick Rob Gronkowski has played in just 10 games this year yet is still the #3 TE overall.  During the entire course of the season GmEn made just 4 waiver moves, and none of them even panned out.  It just goes to show you that the draft DOES matter and that just because you make the most moves in the league, it doesn't gaurantee you a championship!

NBA Plays for Christmas Day Part 1

Part 2

Tis the season for giving and this Christmas we’re going to do something we’ve never done before. We’re going to tell you something about each and every guy from max salary all the way to 4k and then throw in some cheap plays we like. This Christmas we have another big tourney at Draftkings and even though first place doesn’t win 100k, the winner will be getting 3k which to us is still a big time prize. Here’s what we think of each player playing on Christmas!

Top NBA Plays for Today

This Saturday we are going to take very lightly because of our rough performance last night. It was bound to happen, so no worries, but to stay in the green we don’t like to get crazy after a bad losing day. Anyone that didn’t have David Lee or Stephen Curry probably lost last night in what was a very weird night of fantasy basketball. A ton of early blowouts and some players getting ejected made for an odd slate of early games. Today we bring it you our top plays at each position.

Best Matchups for Fantasy Football Playoffs Week 16

If you are playing in Week 16, you are playing for all the marbles, so congratulations to you!  After drafting your team and tweaking it throughout the season via waiver wire and trades, this is it.  There is not much left to do other than play the best lineup you can assemble with the players you currently own.  We want to help you win that championship!

Key Injuries:
QB: Robert Griffin III
RB: Ahmad Bradshaw, Fred JacksonRyan Mathews
WR: Dwayne Bowe, Dez BryantPercy Harvin, Malcom Floyd
TE: Brent Celek

QBs
  • Aaron Rodgers vs Tennessee Titans
    • Rodgers has not thrown for 300 yards since week 7 against the Rams and only has 5 passing TDs in his last 4 games. Not having a healthy Jordy Nelson and Greg Jennings is hurting Rodgers production.
  • Cam Newton vs Oakland Raiders
    • Arguably the best QB in football since week 11. Averaging 261 pass yards, 58 rush yards per game with 12 total TDs and 0 INTs
  • Matt Ryan vs Detroit Lions
    • Before lighting up the Giants secondary, Ryan had 4 TDs and 7 INTs in his previous 4 games.

QBs

Aside from Brees, Kaepernick, Wilson and Big Ben, these QBs are really struggling as of late and are very risky to start regardless of their matchup. Unless you have one of these four out of this list, I assume you are not still in the running for a fantasy football championship, but if you are, look elsewhere for a better matchup at the QB position.

Glen "Big Baby" Davis - Shoulder Sprain

UPDATE: Great news for the Magic Organization, Fans, and fantasy owners! But he will miss a handful of games. Vucevic is still a must add!
Orlando Magic general manager Rob Hennigan said in a statement today that Glen Davis has been diagnosed with a left-shoulder sprain and that an MRI exam revealed “no significant structural damage.” “He will be treated non-operatively,” Hennigan said in the statement. “Treatment will include rest and subsequent strengthening of the muscles around his shoulder. His return will depend on progress made during his rehabilitation.”
Big Baby Glen Davis plays with his heart on his sleeve and gives 110% each night. That effort and reckless abandon leads to a lot of trips to the floor be it for loose balls or taking a charge. But last night, Davis found a way to injure himself while going up for what looked like an easy layup (1:50 mark). The fear is that it might be a rotator cuff injury and that Davis could miss significant time. If that is the case, Big Baby owners need to make a move looking to replace 16 points and 8 rebounds per night. Where should you begin? Nikola Vucevic (65% owned Yahoo) - The 2nd year player out of USC has been playing way above expectations. Acquired in the Dwight Howard deal from Philly, Vucevic is averaging just under 11 points and 12 rebounds per game in December. With Big Baby out of the way, both totals should increase making Vucevic a must own.

NBA Plays for Draftkings Big 12k Tourny

Draftkings is putting on another 12k tourney Wednesday, and it’s time we show up big. There are 11 games, and many options to choose from. The prices have been updated some, so value is a little harder to find, but it’s still there. There are so many good choices out there in terms of pure players that we’re going to rank our top 3 for each position.

Fantasy Basketball Week 7 Recap

Listen to internet radio with RotoinfoXcomX on Blog Talk Radio

Make sure you listen to the Fantasy Nomad & Hecman Hoops podcast from Saturday night!

Last week saw the return of two fan favorites in Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis. After missing several weeks with a finger injury, Irving joined the Cavaliers on Tuesday and dropped 28 points, dished out 11 assists and grabbed 6 rebounds in a win over the Lakers. After struggling to just 9 points the following night, Irivng went off for 26 points against the Bucks (while also breaking his jaw) and 41 in a spectacular game against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden while wearing a black protective face mask. Kyrie has attempted 81 shots in his 4 game return shooting just under 50% and has also hit 11 of his 22 3 point attempts! Kobe Bryant was the only guy to score more points this week! Another #1 overall draft pick returned to action this week and that was the New Orleans Hornets, soon to be known as the New Orleans Pelicans, Anthony Davis. He also returned on Tuesday and has played in 4 games, but his numbers and minutes were not as staggering as Kyrie's. Davis has yet to start a game since returning from and ankle injury, but he has played just about 25+ minutes in each. He has made 17 of his 33 field goal attempts and 24 rebounds over the 4 game span blocking 8 shots. Nothing spectacular but solid numbers and a positive sign that he should not face any setbacks in the upcoming weeks.

NBA All-Star Ballot - First Returns

The NBA has released its All-Star ballots first returns and as usual, the results are laughable.  For injured players and guys not performing like All-Star to receive votes really bothers me.  It is not only Basketball that does it, but it is much easier to highlight in the NBA.

2013 NBA ALL-STAR BALLOTING
EASTERN CONFERENCE
Frontcourt:
  1. LeBron James (Mia) 641,348
  2. Carmelo Anthony (NYK) 573,112
  3. Kevin Garnett (Bos) 218,246
  4. Chris Bosh (Mia) 210,724
  5. Tyson Chandler (NYK) 151,744
  6. Paul Pierce (Bos) 114,735
  7. Joakim Noah (Chi) 73,366
  8. Josh Smith (Atl) 69,344
  9. Andrew Bynum (Phi) 68,596
  10. Amar'e Stoudemire (NYK) 64,266
  11. Shane Battier (Mia) 59,419
  12. Anderson Varejao (Cle) 57,336
  13. Luol Deng (Chi) 48,450
  14. Brook Lopez (BKN) 47,940
  15. Jeff Green (Bos) 36,080
What a joke, are you kidding me?!  Andrew Bynum and Amar'e Stoudemire have not even played this season, WHY DO THEY CONTINUE TO ALLOW FANS TO VOTE FOR PLAYERS WHO ARE INJURED?!?  Until they start letting coaches and players do the voting, and leave the fans out of this, these games will always feature the same players year in and year out.  At that point, what is the point of voting!  Kevin Garnett, Bynum, Stoudemire, SHANE BATTIER?! all have more votes than Anderson Varejao!  That is just highway robbery.  Varejao is playing like a damn MVP early on and should be # 3 on this list!  Cleveland fans should be embarrassed.

Early Look at NFL

Week 14 just ended, but we’re already planning for the next week (is that a good thing?) Our lineup did great, but we focused more on NBA this week with our money. We had some big hits getting a Scheffler TD and making the obvious pick of Adrian Peterson, but we also had a nice hit with Green having a good day for cheap and Colts/Seattle D doing big and BIG things. This next week we are going to try and do even better. Here are our top 3 rankings per skill position.

Best Matchups for Fantasy Football Playoffs Week 15

If you are playing in Week 15, you either won your division or a 1st round playoff game, so congratulations to you!  To those of you who are in week 2 of their 1st round playoff matchup, let us know what your current score is! After drafting your team and tweaking it throughout the season via waiver wire and trades, this is it.  There is likely not much left out there to do other than play the best lineup you can assemble with the players you currently own.  We want to help you make it through your playoffs and win that championship!

Key Injuries:
QB: Robert Griffin III
RB: Ahmad Bradshaw, Fred Jackson, LeSean McCoy
WR: Dwayne Bowe, Dez Bryant, Percy Harvin
TE: Brent Celek

QBs
  • Josh Freeman vs New Orleans Saints
  • Drew Brees vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Andy Dalton vs Philadelphia Eagles
  • Cam Newton vs San Diego Chargers
  • Colin Kaepernick vs New England Patriots
  • Russell Wilson vs Buffalo Bills
  • Carson Palmer vs Kansas City Chiefs
  • Matt Schaub vs Indianapolis Colts
The way Cam Newton has been playing, fantasy owners are FINALLY seeing value and what better time than the playoffs!  Brees owes it to his owners for his duds the last 2 weeks.  This is a great matchup for him to really bust out.

Worst Matchups for Fantasy Football Playoffs Week 15

QBs
  • Philip Rivers vs Carolina Panthers
  • Andrew Luck vs Houston Texans
  • Matt Ryan vs New York Giants
  • Jay Cutler vs Green Bay Packers
  • Joe Flacco vs Denver Broncos
  • Ben Roethlisberger vs Dallas Cowboys
  • Peyton Manning vs Baltimore Ravens
  • Eli Manning vs Atlanta Falcons
  • Tom Brady vs San Francisco 49ers
  • Tony Romo vs Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Aaron Rodgers vs Chicago Bears
  • Matthew Stafford vs Arizona Cardinals
It seems like any team in the playoffs will most likely have one of these QBs compared to the QBs with the best matchups.  That being said, the Elite QBs don't really care what defense they face, "Ain't nobody got time for that!"

A Look at Draftking's 12k Tourny 12/12/12

Wednesday is finally here, and we’re left to wonder “Can I win the big 12k tourney on Draftkings?” Well, we’re here to give you some confidence going into the tournament if you’ve joined. It’s a decent chunk of change (12$), but first place wins big time cash. There is a huge player pool for the day and there are plenty of great options to choose from. Here are our top 3 plays per position for Wednesday.

Fantasy Basketball Week 6 Recap

After beating the Clippers and Knicks during a 5 game win streak, and improving their home record to 7-1, the Brooklyn Nets have come CRASHING back down to earth.  On November 30, the Nets beat the Orlando Magic to wrap up a great month and extend their winning streak to 5 games.  Their 3rd road game in 4 nights happened to land them in South Beach, Miami on December 1 and spun everything out of control.  The Nets lost by 13, their second loss of the season to the Heat (Lost by 30 the 1st meeting).  They then returned to Brooklyn for a much needed stretch of 4 at home.

December 4th saw the Nets host the Oklahoma City Thunder, they battled to a 117-111 loss and then December 7th rolled around and in came Mark Jackson's Warriors.  This is NOT the same Warriors team of recent memory.  The Nets played another exciting game of basketball, yet couldn't pull out the win eventually losing 109-102.  Ok, Oklahoma City & Golden State have combined for 30 wins, so it's ok to lose to them at home, yet still frustrating.

Last night the Bucks are in town, Brooklyn should be able to finally get a win at home.  Let's put it this way, the Nets scored more points in the 4th quarter (33) than they did in the entire 1st half (31)!  The Knicks come back to Brooklyn on Tuesday night and if the Nets don't get their act together, they will find themselves in a 5 game losing streak, including 4 straight at home.  Lets take a look at what Brooklyn's problems have been:

Best Matchups for Fantasy Football Playoffs Week 14

If you are playing in Week 14, it most likely means that you are now playing in a playoff matchup.  After drafting your team and tweaking it throughout the season via waiver wire and trades, this is it.  There is likely not much left out there to do other than play the best lineup you can assemble with the players you currently own.  We want to help you make it through your playoffs and win that championship.  Week 14 is just Round 1 and while some of you have a BYE, the rest of us dont!

QBs
  • Eli Manning vs Saints - New Orleans has allowed the most fantasy points to QBs
  • Joe Flacco @ Redskins - Washington has allowed the 2nd most fantasy points to QBs
  • Peyton Manning @ Raiders - Oakland has allowed the 3rd most fantasy points to QBs
  • Andrew Luck vs Titans - Tennessee has allowed the 4th most fantasy points to QBs
  • Jay Cutler @ Vikings - Minnesota has allowed the 5th most fantasy points to QBs
  • Matt Schaub @ Patriots - New England has allowed the 6th most fantasy points to QBs
  • Josh Freeman vs Eagles - Philadelphia has allowed the 8th most fantasy points to QBs
Love Peyton, Eli, Andrew, Matt & Josh.  Flacco & Cutler have great matchups but they have been so inconsistent this year I would not be very comfortable starting them.  You could argue that Schaub has been inconsistent as well but when his team needs to throw the ball and score points, he has put up monster games and a matchup with the Patriots calls for that Matt Schaub to show up.

Worst Matchups for Fantasy Football Playoffs Week 14

If you are playing in Week 14, it most likely means that you are now playing in a playoff matchup.  After drafting your team and tweaking it throughout the season via waiver wire and trades, this is it.  There is likely not much left out there to do other than play the best lineup you can assemble with the players you currently own.  We want to help you make it through your playoffs and win that championship.  Week 14 is just Round 1 and while some of you have a BYE, the rest of us dont!

QBs
  • Phillip Rivers @ Steelers - Pittsburgh has allowed the 2nd fewest fantasy points to QBs
  • Russell Wilson vs Cardinals - Arizona has allowed the 4th fewest fantasy points to QBs
  • Cam Newton vs Falcons - Atlanta has allowed the 5th fewest fantasy points to QBs
  • Robert Griffin III vs Ravens - Baltimore has allowed the 7th fewest fantasy points to QBs
  • Andy Dalton vs Cowboys - Dallas has allowed the 8th fewest fantasy points to QBs
  • Tony Romo @ Bengals - Cincinnati has allowed the 10th fewest fantasy points to QBs
Russell Wilson is going to have problems with this Cardinals D.  In their last 4 contests, they have 10 interceptions including 5 against Matt Ryan, 3 against Mark Sanchez, and one each off Aaron Rodgers and Sam Bradford.

NBA Plays for 12/8

This Saturday we’re enjoying the smaller player pool to choose from. For one, some of our favorite plays are playing today and they’re also cheap. Finding these guys is a must and capitalizing on players who are consistently top performers is huge. To make sure you guys do this, we are going to list our top plays at each position to go along with a value play for each.

NBA Plays 12/7

After the day off Thursday we’re feeling recharged and ready to see what Friday has in store for us. We have a ton of games to choose from, and therefore don’t even need a player under 4k on Draftkings. This is something we love to see because we have found super value in the 5-7k range. Here are our plays from each money tier.

Wednesday, December 5, 2012

NBA Plays for 12/5

Tuesday we played some big money capitalizing on what we knew would be a high scoring game between the Rockets and the Lakers, but it was players like Zach Randolph and others in the other games that made people the big time paydays. We made a last second move to our lineup that we benefitted from (Josh Howard instead of Chris Duhon), but it was not taking Joakim Noah that kept us from making more.

Why the Cavaliers Have to Trade Anderson Varejao

When Anderson Varejao received that massive $47,954,545 contract for 6 years in the summer of 2009, he was not very good.  You would think playing with LeBron James would give him his greatest chance at success, but it seems Varejao just needed LeBron to disappear!  When they offered Varejao that contract, it was a last ditch effort to prove to LeBron they were going to spend money on players that give him the best chance of winning.  Well LeBron brought his talents to South Beach and the Cavaliers ended up with the #1 pick and Kyrie Iriving.  It hasn't led to many wins, but it has started the path to a new and bright future in Cleveland.  The Cavaliers have come to a fork in the road and need to make a decision sooner rather than later.

Fantasy Basketball Week 5 Recap

Anderson Varejao (93% owned Yahoo) has been UNBELIEVABLY good this season.  With 8 straight double-doubles, he has increased his season averages to 15 points and 15 boards, oh yeah while adding 3 assists per night too.  Shooting 53% from the floor is slightly better than his career average but 80% from the charity stripe is nearly 20% better than his career!  What has gotten into this man?!  Where was he when LeBron James needed him to win some NBA Championships?!  It's just to bad he that the Cavaliers still have trouble winning games.  Should Cleveland be considering trading Anderson Varejao for a nice package to help continue their rebuilding process?  What teams would be interested in his 2yr/$18 mil contract with a $9m team option? Are the Cavs better off taking back players or draft picks?

NBA Plays for 12/3

Monday night has a great football game in store for us and six solid NBA games to pick a fantasy team from. We like tomorrow’s games better, but we feel confident with our team for Monday. We’re back on the work grind, and there’s nothing better then researching for fantasy sports while at work. Here is the lineup we’re working with Monday.

Fantasy Football Week 13 - Are You Playoff Bound?

We are in two Yahoo Fantasy Football leagues, a 12 & 20 team.

In the 12 team league, just 3 teams have clinched a playoff spot, including a 12-0-0 team.  There are two teams 7-5 and two teams 6-6 fighting for the last 3 spots.  There is even a 5-7 team that could still make the playoffs with a W and loses from the 6-6 teams all based on points!

In the 20 team league, 6 of the 8 spots are locked up but one of the 4 divisions is still up for grabs as is the final 8 seed.  Three 6-6 teams are all hoping for a W and a L for the one 7-5 team.

How are your leagues playoffs shaping up?  Is Week 13 important or is the seeding already set?  Let us know in the comment section!

Thursday Night Football
November 29, 2012
New Orleans Saints @ Atlanta Falcons
8:20pm EST on NFL Network

Have a dilemma at RB/WR? Cant figure out which player to start? Leave your question in the comment section and we will hook you up with the right answer!

If we have given you a suggestion as to who you should play, please reply on Monday or Tuesday and let us know what you did and if it worked!

For the latest injury reports, check out Fantasy Football Toolbox!

QB Match-ups to Avoid

Philip Rivers vs Bengals - The Bengals own the leagues most underrated defense and have allowed just 1 passing TD in the last 3 weeks while forcing 3 interceptions.  They have not allowed more than 13 points in that same span to Eli Manning, the Chiefs and Carson Palmer.  Rivers has hit the 250 yard mark just twice in his last 5 contests.  He is completing passes above his career average at 66.8% for the year but has attempted just 36 passes over 20 yards all season long.

Jay Cutler vs Seahawks - I am sure by now Cutler owners have realized this but the Bears own the leagues WORST pass attack.  The Seahawks are top 3 against the Pass.  Not a good matchup.  The Bears line has allowed 35 sacks this year and the Seahawks have totaled 29 sacks. Cutler has hit 200 yards just once since OCTOBER 7TH!

Fantasy Football Week 13 - Waiver Wire Pickups

UPDATE: Jaguars have placed Jalen Parmele on the IR with a groin injury, ending his season. With MJD still out, Rashad Jennings will get the start against an awful Bills run defense. He's a must add for this week if you have had injuries at the RB position

Must Haves

Colin Kaepernick (36%) QB 49ers
With Ben Roethlisberger & Michael Vick out,  and Jay Cutler, Joe Flacco & Philip Rivers struggling, QBs are hard to come by these days.  Everyone has one on the their bench leaving little on the market.  Well Kaepernick proved once again why he should earn another start over Alex Smith and against a Rams team he helped lead the 49ers back to a tie in OT just 3 weeks ago.  Teams that get to the QB are actually going to struggle more gainst Colin as he has a great sense of when to take off and run!  I feel like he is always going to get at least a Passing TD as well as a Rushing TD each week.  But looking at this two starts they are nearly identical!  Good news for fantasy, consistency!

Bryce Brown (40%) RB Eagles
With LeSean McCoy sidelined with a concussion, Bryce Brown got the start on MNF which many people did not tune in to watch.  For those who didn't watch, then you missed the Bryce Brown show.  This guy has explosive speed, and has all the tools to be a successful running back in this league.  Yes he lost 2 fumbles but that is something you can fix just like Tiki Barber did with the Giants.  McCoy is still in the early stages of recovery from his concussion and with the Eagles sitting at 3-8 there is no rush to bring him back.  Brown is a must add and might be the reason somebody wins a fantasy football championship this year.

NBA Plays for 12/1

Tyreke Evans got us last night as we would have won every game we played in last night as long as he put up 5 fantasy points, but instead we just broke even. We can’t get upset about it though as those kinds of things happen. It’s time to push through and if you’re playing fantasy NBA you’re one of two things: riding a hot streak, or not a football fan. Well, you ask for some picks and we shall provide. Here are today’s top plays according to pricing.

$3,000-$4,000:
  • Courtney Lee @MIL- Put up over 30 in spot start. Starts again today w/ Rondo out.
  • Andray Blatche @MIA- 30 points in last 2 games. Lopez still out. Top 2 cheap play.
  • Kyle Singler @DAL- Scares you each night out, but gets his 20 points.
  • Reggie Evans @MIA- Evans consistently gets 10 rebounds. No risk. Good for 20.
