The losses of Howard and Pau have given life to Antawn Jamison once again. There has been a quote from D’Antoni floating around that has even said that World Peace might get some time at center! We’re not sure that has any negative change to his value due to the fact that his minutes should be up no matter what.
A name that could be popping up on some fantasy winners Tuesday night could be Robert Sacre. He’s logged some minutes in the last week, but never more than 16 minutes where he put up 4 points and 4 rebounds. His 3k price tag puts him as a low risk high reward guy if you need a minimum player.
Sacre and Jamison aren’t the only cheap options though on Draftkings. Derrick Williams has found himself starting again now that Kevin Love is out. In his last game, he put up 29 fantasy points. He is priced at $4,100 on Draftkings.
The last cheap option we like is Patrick Patterson from the Rockets. He is priced at $4,400 and has found himself between 25 and 32 points in his last three contests. He is seeing good minutes even while being behind Marcus Morris on the depth chart and should be in a high scoring game Tuesday night.
Spending a Little to Buy Big.
So, you used two slots on cheap plays to free up big time cap space for your other six spots. We recommend using your money on James Harden and Kobe Bryant. James Harden is going to be in that high scoring Rockets/Lakers game and should be the number one scoring option like always for the Rockets. He has put up 43+ points in four straight games and went for over 50 in two of those games.
Does anyone think that Kobe Bryant won’t be the number one option with Pau and Dwight out on Tuesday? Bryant might hoist 40 shots Tuesday, and on Draftkings there is no negative for missed shots. He has gone for over 40 in each of his last ten games, and for his $10,800 price he better be that consistent.
Middle of the Road
George Hill has caused many of us fantasy players to swear at him this past week, but with him finally being healthy we can plug him into a great matchup versus the Heat. He is priced nicely at $5,800 and should easily get you 30 fantasy points against the Heat who are known to be bad against point guards.
Nikola Pekovic is another middle of the road priced player we see to have nice potential Tuesday night. His matchup against the Hawks isn’t the best, but he has shown to have some nice games against good big men. Against Aldridge and Hickson from Portland he went for a double double and 45 fantasy points in 22 minutes! He had to leave the game because of a hip injury, but is said to be able to play against the Hawks. Can an eye on him as you’ll want to make sure he’s in the starting lineup.
Wednesday gives us a big slate of games giving us 11 to choose from. With five games going Tuesday we’ll see some players on back to backs that could be a factor in fantasy action.
