The Miami Marlins beat the New York Mets last night, but they lost Giancarlo Stanton for a while. Stanton injured himself while running to first base, and we will not know how serious this is until he undergoes an MRI. Stanton has struggled all season long, but was getting hot right before his injury. He hit all 3 of his home runs in the previous series against the Cubs and added 5 of his 9 RBI over that same stretch. You might want to consider offering him in a deal because he will be a major headache the entire season, especially later when the Marlins have nothing to play for.
Miami will look to replace Stanton in the lineup with 22 year old Marcell Ozuna. Ozuna has 5 home runs in just 43 ABs for the Jacksonville Suns and is slugging .810. He is going to strike out, there is no doubt about it, but he has managed 20 home runs in each of the last 3 minor league seasons. I would only add him to your roster if you play in NL only leagues.
If you want to move Stanton to your DL spot and add a bat for the next two weeks, look at Brandon Moss, Cody Ross, Nate Schierholtz, Nate McLouth, Carlos Quentin and Justin Ruggiano.
