Jered Weaver was taken out of Sunday night's game in the 6th after suffering a strained left elbow. The injury happened as Mitch Moreland hit a line drive back up the middle and Weaver dodged the ball as he tried to avoid getting hit. Luckily it was his non pitching arm and the Angels most likely pulled him for precautionary reasons.
We will keep you updated when we hear the severity of the injury and if Weaver is expect to miss anytime.
Report from the Angels clubhouse: Jered Weaver left the game with a strained left elbow. X-rays negative.
