Mets Lose Two Snowball Fights in Colorado

After having their final game in Minnesota snowed out on Sunday, and their series opener against Colorado, the Mets and Rockies were forced to play a day/night double header in frigid snowy conditions.

The Mets had a lead in both games but the pitching gave up the lead in each game. The biggest blow was in game 2 as the Mets had a 8-2 lead and ended up losing 9-8 in extra innings, after Ruben Tejada made his 6th throwing error in 12 games, allowing 2 runs to score and tie the game up with 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th.

Rockies 8 Mets 4 (Game 1)
