Roy Halladay - Shoulder Surgery - Could Be Season Ending

Roy Halladay confirmed today that he will undergo right shoulder surgery and for fantasy purposes his season is most likely over.  This is the final year of Doc's contract and if I had to guess, we might not see Roy Halladay pitch again for the Phillies.  Halladay has been terrible this season and in 4 of his 7 starts he allowed 5 or more earned runs.  He had a 3 game stretch in which he looked healthy, but just 2 starts and 6 innings later, Halladay needs surgery.  Kyle Kendrick and Jonathan Pettibone have eased the pain for Philadelphia, who currently sit 2 games under .500 at 16-18.  The Phillies pitching staff is 2nd in quality starts, but 25th in team ERA.

Most of us have moved on from Halladay already, but if you were waiting for this news before making a move, let us know what your options are!
