Fantasy Baseball All-Star Break Rankings - Outfielders

MLB All Star Game Banner VerticalMike Trout continues to live up to the hype and is having an excellent season without the help of Albert Pujols, and Josh Hamilton. Justin Upton started hot and finished hot to keep himself valuable. He hit 12 home runs in April and has hit just 4 over his last 235 ABs. But he did hit .319 in July before the break so that is a good sign of things to come. His brother B.J. on the other hand, continues to play terrible baseball and will start the second half on the DL. Just how bad has B.J. Upton been? Giancarlo Stanton has played 51 games and Angel Pagan has played 46 and both guys have produced as much as Upton has in 84 games! Marlon Byrd and Raul Ibanez both have 277 ABs, same as Upton and each guy has at least 31 more RBI. Andre Ethier has stepped his game up over the last 30 days and his trade value is probably at its peak, so expect him to be dealt in the coming weeks. Alex Rios is another guy who will most likely be dealt at the trade deadline. He has hit just about .280 every month expect June where he hit .246. The low production numbers are a product of the teams poor play, not his. Grab him now if his owner is looking to get rid of him!
