Freddie Freeman or Yasiel Puig?

We the people, fans of Major League Baseball have the power to vote in the final All-Stars for the MLB All-Star Game at Citi Field. It was thought that the Cuban sensation Yasiel Puig would run away with the voting, but the Atlanta Braves fans have spoken and helped Freddie Freeman jump out to an early lead. We can vote through Thursday and you can make it official by clicking here, but we want to know what our readers think! Lets look at the Tape!

It has been made quite clear that Puig has probably not played enough games or had enough at bats to warrant an All-Star appearance, and normally I would agree, but this guy is different. He is one of the most electrifying players in the game, and with all of the scandal surrounding it, it seems like a perfect distraction. He has made highlight plays on both sides of the ball and is doing things only Joe DiMaggio has done.

Don't get me wrong, I love Freddie Freeman and think he is an All-Star and more deserving than Travis Wood, and Marco Scutaro but that's the price you pay for playing a position that Joey Votto, Paul Goldschmidt and Allen Craig play. If Freddie stayed healthy, then there is no doubt in my mind he is on that roster.
