2014 Fantasy Baseball Second Base Rankings

Robinson Cano has been the best second base hitter in baseball for several years now. He is no longer a New York Yankee as he signed a monster contract with the Seattle Mariners, and will not have the privilege of hitting in a bandbox.  However it's hard to imagine Cano's number will take a big dip as he is one of the best hitters in the entire game.  Cano is worth an early draft pick, as is Dustin Pedroia but I would wait to pick from the leftovers before reaching for one in the mid-rounds.  Don't forget, Ian Kinsler no longer plays for the Texas Rangers, but he does get to leadoff for the Detroit Tigers in front of Miguel CabreraMatt Carpenter will take over 3B for the St. Louis Cardinals after they dealt David Freese to the Los Angeles Angels and you can find him buried in the ranks there.

Jurickson Profar will miss the first 10-12 weeks of the MLB season
