Sixers Send Spencer Hawes to Cavs

The Philadelphia 76ers have traded Spencer Hawes to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Earl Clark, Henry Sims and two 2nd round draft picks in the upcoming draft.  This further proves the Sixers have no intent on winning any more games this season.  It could also mean that Nerlens Noel is near ready for a return?

The Cavaliers have to be the worst franchise ever.  Even after they fired their GM, their new roster manager continues to make terrible trades.  The Cavs already had Anderson Varejao drafted Tristan Thompson, Tyler Zeller, and Anthony Bennett and now add ANOTHER big to the rotation who will be leaving the team this offseason.  Hawes is better than Zeller/Bennett but you need to allow these guys the opportunity to develop.

The Sixers are clearly done playing basketball this season.  I would assume Lavoy Allen and Arnett Moultrie should see an increase in minutes before Henry Sims gets some burn.  Earl Clark helps make the cash work but he could also be the backup plan if Evan Turner gets dealt and a SF is not brought back in return.

Three trades into the NBA trade deadline and nothing that has changed the landscape of the NBA or Fantasy Basketball.  Stay Tuned!
