Golden State Warriors Trade for Steve Blake

With the Warriors trying to upgrade their bench, they have made a trade with the Los Angeles Lakers to acquire point guard Steve Blake.

In return the Lakers will get guards MarShon Brooks and Kent Bazemore.

The Warriors will now have a backup for Stephen Curry, as Steve Blake will give Golden State a player off the bench who can handle the ball, find open teammates and shoot the 3. This solidifies the Warriors guard positions, as Jordan Crawford is a solid backup to starter Klay Thompson.

This is just the start of the Lakers trading off any valuable players they have left on their roster. Steve Nash, Kendall Marshall, Jordan Farmar and Jodie Meeks will handle the back court for the time being.
