The Atlanta Braves have signed Ervin Santana to a one year deal.  This after rumors that Santana was looking for a 3 year deal.  It is a safe signing for the Braves who get to add an above average pitcher to their rotation that already includes Julio Teheran, Mike Minor, Kris Medlen, Brandon Beachy and Alex Wood

Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports (via Twitter) that Santana's deal is worth $14.1MM
Santana has a career ERA of 4.19, spending his first 9 MLB seasons in the American League, the first 8 with the Los Angeles Angels and last season with the Kansas City Royals.  He did win 96 games with the Angels and even won 17 games in 2010, and 16 twice (2006, 08).  Santana can pitch and moving to the National League should help..
