UPDATE: Jose Reyes will be placed on the 15-day DL with left hamstring tightness and the team will call up Jonathan Diaz.

Well it only took 1 at-bat for Jose Reyes to suffer a hamstring injury, as the Blue Jays shortstop left the game in the first inning after his first at-bat. Reyes has had a history of hamstring injuries so this is not something to sweep under the rug. There is good chance that the Blue Jays place Reyes on the DL and let his hamstring heal, rather than let him play through the injury and cause more damage.

Ryan Goins has filled in for Reyes at shortstop and will take over the position until Reyes is healthy and ready to return.
