It was initially reported that Ramos fractured a bone in his left hand at some point during Monday's opener, but it appears the Nationals are now backing away from that claim. We should have a clearer indication of Ramos' injury situation after his scheduled visit with a hand specialist Tuesday. Look for an expected return timetable for Ramos to also become available after the meeting. - ESPN
The Washington Nationals penciled catcher Wilson Ramos in the cleanup spot against the New York Mets today. Ramos was removed in the 7th inning and while no official word has been released yet, there is this tweet:
Google Translate says "Wilson Ramos left the game with pain in his left hand. Is fractured at one of the metacarpal..." OH CRUD.

If Ramos did fracture his finger, he could be out up to 5 weeks!
