Clayton Kershaw tossed a no hitter against the Colorado Rockies last night and was a throwing error away (Hanley Ramirez) from a perfect game with 15 strikeouts! Kershaw was masterful last night needing just 107 pitches (79 strikes) to defeat Troy Tulowitzki's Rockies. Tulo was the only Rockies hitter not strikeout, while Wilin Rosario struck out 3 times. Every other Rockies batter was punched out twice except Josh Rutledge who managed two ground outs. Corey Dickerson was the only Rockies hitter to reach base thanks to Ramirez' throwing error to start the 7th inning. Kershaw improves to 7-2 with a 2.52 ERA and 0.92 WHIP.
