Arizona Diamondbacks Trade Gerardo Parra to Milwaukee Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers have acquired Gerardo Parra from the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for two minor leaguers.  The Brewers add a veteran, gold glove outfielder, with a .274 career average who will platoon with power hitter youngster Khris Davis.  Davis is hitting over .300 against left handers, but just .232 against righties.  However, 11 of Davis' 17 home runs come vs righties. Davis is also hitting just .234 in July, but .268 after the All-Star break.

Davis will lose a ton of fantasy value if he is only facing lefties, but Parra should benefit from a change of scenery and joining a team fighting for a division title. Parra has always been an undervalued fantasy player. With Parra gone, Ender Inciarte should take over RF for the D'Backs and could provide some stolen bases for you in fantasy.

The Brewers officially acquired two-time Gold Glove winner Gerardo Parra from the Diamondbacks today for minor leaguers Mitch Haniger and Anthony Banda. - MLBTradeRumors
