The Sacramento Kings have traded point guard Isaiah Thomas to the Phoenix Suns, in a sign and trade. Thomas will get a new 4-year deal worth $27 million, and the Kings will receive a trade exception (worth about $7 million), and the draft rights to Alex Oriakhi.

With Goran Dragic as the Suns starting PG, Thomas will serve as the teams 6th man. He should excel in the Suns uptempo offense.

There is still no word on what the Suns will do with Eric Bledsoe, but they do enough cap space to keep him.

For Sacramento, they lose their starting point guard, but Ray McCallum will likely take over that job.
