The Detroit Lions missed Calvin Johnson at practice for two days this week, but Megatron will play against Rex Ryan's New York Jets. Johnson hasn't scored a TD since his 2 against the New York Giants in Week 1, but he has gained 80+ yards each week, with at least 6 receptions and 10 targets. Matthew Stafford knows how good he is, and as long as he is on the field, he will get his targets. Johnson ranks 4th in the NFL in receiving yards with 329, behind Julio Jones (365), Jordy Nelson (351) and Emmanuel Sanders(334).
Golden Tate has 16 receptions for 201 yards on the year, but has failed to score. The Jets (7 TDs allowed 0 INT) have said they plan on taking Johnson out of the game with defense, so it could be a big game for the new Lion. Also, Eric Ebron is due for more work this week with Joseph Fauria out.
Lions WR Calvin Johnson, listed as questionable for today's game vs. the Jets with an ankle injury, will be active.
