The Green Bay Packers are planning to use a 50/50 split between their running backs Eddie Lacy and James Starks. It appears to be a move to keep both backs healthy and fresh. Starks did not see a carry in week 4, but he played 29 snaps last week, while Lacy played 28. It's hard to tell if that's the Packers using a 50/50 split or the fact that the Packers were blowing out the Vikings.

To be honest, I don't buy this. There is no way the Packers will only use Lacy on 50% of the teams snaps. He's too good not to have out there on almost every play. A 75/25 split is more likely, especially in close games. Regardless, don't ever sit Lacy as we saw last week, he's a beast! It's not a bad idea to pick up Starks as a handcuff if you don't have him already.

Either way, this is a pass happy team led by Aaron Rodgers. Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb have been putting up some big numbers and finding the end zone on a regular basis.
