#Panthers rookie WR Kelvin Benjamin (concussion) has been cleared, source says. He’ll play today vs. the #Packers.

The Carolina Panthers could potentially be without their rookie wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin for their week 7 game against the Green Bay Packers. Benjamin popped up on the injury list earlier this week with a concussion and has still not practiced this week. This is Benjamin's second concussion in less than a year, as he suffered one last November while playing at Florida State.
If Benjamin does not pass the NFL protocol before Sunday's game then Cam Newton will have to rely heavily on Greg Olsen and Jerricho Cotchery. Also the team is short at the running back position, as it looks like DeAngelo Williams, Darrin Reaves and Fozzy Whittaker will be inactive, leaving just Jonathan Stewart and Chris Ogbonnaya to handle the carries.
