The Charlotte Hornets will be without Big Al Jefferson for the next 4 weeks with a groin injury.  He leads the team in points per game at 18 and rebounds per game with 8.2.  The Hornets will now turn to Cody Zeller at center, and while he has only hit double digit points twice in the month of December, we all know he is capable of scoring, and we saw him do that during his short time at Indiana University.  With Jefferson out, that opens up 16 shots per game, which will most likely be taken by Kemba Walker.

Walker is having a down year, shooting under 40% from the field, but has managed to score 70 points  in Charlotte's last two contests.  However, he needed 53 shots and 23 free throw attempts to do so.

Marvin Williams will see a boost in minutes with rookie Noah Vonleh still recovering from a sports hernia. He is with the team but his minutes are scarce.  Bismack Biyombo is likely to get some burn before the rook.

As far as fantasy basketball goes, here are some Center eligible players to hold down the fort, while Big Al recovers.  These players are under 65% owned in both Yahoo and ESPN:
