After an embarrassing loss to Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts (yes, the Colts are a better team but the loss was brutal), Mike Pettine is finally making the switch at QB from Brian Hoyer to Johnny Manziel.  In that loss, Hoyer set a Browns record no one ever wants to be associated with:

Brian Hoyer is first QB in Browns franchise history with 3-straight games with 0 pass TD and 2+ INT. (via @nflnetwork research)

I agreed last week that Hoyer should get the start, but assumed he would be removed at some point int he game.  Hoyer finished with 140 passing yards, completing just 14 of his 31 attempts and threw 2 interceptions.  Two Browns defensive touchdowns and a Isaiah Crowell rushing TD gave the Browns a 21-7 lead in the 3rd quarter.  Here is the Browns drive summary from the game:

I don't care if the Browns had won the game, this switch had to be made!  They did not have one drive last more than 5 plays in the 2nd half!  Manziel is going to make a huge difference in the way the Browns offense operates, its just not going to translate to fantasy football at this point in the season with the playoffs underway.  Josh Gordon should have a much better day though!

The Browns will host the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15 of the NFL.  Cincy had allowed just a single Drew Brees TD over their last 4 games, before Ben Roethlisberger completed 3 of them last week.  Big Ben was the first QB to throw for 300+ yards against the Bengals since Andrew Luck in Week 7.  It will be a tough game for Manziel, but Johnny Football will live up to the moment!

The last time the Browns and Bengals met, Crowell, Terrance West and Ben Tate all scored touchdowns, leading to a 24-3 Browns win in Cincinnati.
