Just two tight ends scored 20+ fantasy points during the Fantasy Football Playoffs (Weeks 14-16) and they both did so this past weekend.  Luke Willson...not the actor, caught 2 touchdowns from Russell Wilson and totaled 139 yards on just 3 receptions!  It was the best TE performance postseason, and it helped next to nobody!  Antonio Gates was the other TE to score 20+ points and added 7 receptions for 92 yards on top of his 2 touchdown receptions from Philip Rivers.

But what we want to focus on here are the tight ends who had 3 good weeks in a row.  Just 12 TEs finished in the top 25 all three weeks, and no, Julius Thomas can not make the cut tonight on Monday Night Football.

Rob Gronkowski was the best TE to own this playoff season, tallying 37.2 fantasy points, and finishing 5th, 2nd and 6th amongst TEs in each week.  Tom Brady targeted him 29 times, completing 17 passes for 214 yards and 3 touchdowns, one in each game.

Gates was 2nd with 36 fantasy points.  He caught one more pass than Gronk, on 5 less targets and also scored 3 times, but gained 34 less yards, 180 total.

Heath Miller, Travis Kelce and Scott Chandler were the only other tight ends to score 20+ total points.

Zach Ertz caught a ridiculous 15 passes (18 targets) from Mark Sanchez on Saturday in an Eagles loss to the Redskins and although he gained 110 yards, he failed to score.  His Week 14 touchdown (2 catches, 39 yards) ranked him 6th, giving him two top 10 finishes.

Gronk, Gates, Greg Olsen, Jason Witten, Jimmy Graham and Chandler also finished in the top 10 twice.

Josh Hill vultured 2 touchdowns from Jimmy Graham in Week 15.

Jared Cook caught 2 in Week 14.
