UPDATE - Jennings tweeted he will be out 6 - 9 months

The Detroit Pistons are awaiting some very bad news today, as Brandon Jennings was taken off the court last night in a wheel chair.  They believe he may have torn his Achilles.  If this is true and Jennings does miss the rest of the NBA season, D.J. Augustin is the add in fantasy basketball.  He played in 61 games for the Chicago Bulls last season, and with Derrick Rose out, averaged 14.9 points and 5 assists per game.

The Detroit Pistons had been on a roll since the depature of Josh Smith, which began with a 7 game win streak.  Jennings has had some great games since:

The Pistons shared the load on offense between Jennings, Greg Monroe, Andre Drummond and Kentavioius Caldwell-Pope, with each guy getting 10+ shots per night. With Augustin now running the offense, it will be interesting to see how the dynamic changes.

Jodie Meeks was already getting about 24 minutes per game, so he should see a boost in minutes as well, especially in games he is lighting it up from downtown.  Rookie Spencer Dinwiddle can expect to see some more action as well, but is not a fantasy option.

If another owner beat you too Augustin, check out these options:
