The Milwaukee Brewers have re-signed closer Francisco Rodriguez to a 2-year deal, worth $13 million, with a club option for the 2017 season.

K-Rod will serve as the Brewers closer for this season and Jonathan Broxton will be the set up man in Milwaukee.


In 68 innings last season with the Brewers, Rodriguez saved 44 games in 49 opportunities, while posting a 3.04 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and a 73/18 K/BB ratio.
