The New York Knicks will have to play the second half of their dreadful season without their superstar Carmelo Anthony. Anthony will be undergoing knee surgery and will be forced to sit out the rest of the season.

This is probably the best case scenario for the 10-43 Knicks who currently own the worst record in the NBA. Carmelo can get healthy for the start of next season, they'll continue to play for the worst record and a possible #1 overall pick and who knows what they'll do in free agency with all the cap space they'll have.

So Knicks fans just get through these next few months, enjoy watching Langston Galloway, Jason Smith, Tim Hardaway Jr, Shane Larkin and Cleanthony Early. It's only going to get better.
