People are very high on the Chicago White Sox this year as they had a nice off-season bringing in Melky Cabrera, Adam LaRoche and Jeff Samardzija. Cabrera and LaRoche give protection to slugger Jose Abreu in the middle of the lineup, while Samardzija gives the White Sox a nice 1-2 punch at the top of their rotation, with ace Chris Sale.

However the season might get off on the wrong foot (no pun intended). Chris Sale had an accident at his house and suffered a fractured right foot and is out at least 3 weeks. It appears that Sale has avoided a major injury but his availability for opening day is now in jeopardy.
