The New York Giants and free agent RB Shane Vereen have agreed to a 4 year $16 mil deal.  Vereen joins Rashad Jennings and Andre Williams in the Giants backfield.  Vereen will give Eli Manning another dangerous weapon in the pass attack, joining Odell Beckham Jr., a healthy Victor Cruz, Rueben Randle and whatever Larry Donnell really is.  The Giants gained the 7th most yards in the air last year, but less than 500 of Eli's 4470 passing yards were to running backs.  Jennings and Williams caught just 48 passes combined. Vereen makes the Giants a very dangerous team and Eli is going to have to be considered in fantasy football leagues with 12 or more owners.  Vereen is coming off a career year in which he totaled 838 yards  (391 rushing) and scored 5 touchdowns.  He has 99 receptions over the last two seasons.
