Even with Chris Carter hitting just .177 and playing first base everyday, the Houston Astros have won 30 games. They can't really move him to DH because Evan Gattis and his .218 BA are there. At least Gattis has 10 home runs and 30 RBI. Carter has 7 homers and 24 RBI. Jon Singleton is stuck dominating AAA pitching until the Astros figure something out.

The San Francisco Giants finally told Casey McGehee that he is no longer welcome on their team, but it is Matt Duffy playing the hot corner these days, and playing well, leaving Adam Duvall in the Minors.

The Arizona Diamondbacks outfield is crowded with Ender Inciarte, A.J. Pollock , Mark Trumbo and David Peralta all swinging a hot bat.  Peter O'Brien is going to have to wait patiently in AAA Reno.  It's not like he is going to get playing time at catcher over Tuffy Gosewisch!
