The Minnesota Twins are following what the rest of the MLB is doing, and calling up their superstar from AA, OF Byron Buxton.  Depending on which site you are reading, Buxton is the #1/#2 prospect in all of baseball.  Buxton is hitting .283 with 12 TRIPLES this season.  He also has 7 doubles and 6 home runs.  He is a career .289 hitter in the Minors, across 4 seasons.  Injuries have limited his progression, but the Twins selected him 2nd overall in the 2012 MLB Draft, behind Carlos Correa, who is already on the Houston Astros roster.

Indians Promote Francisco Lindor

The Twins offense has been very inconsistent this season, and sit in the middle of the pack in runs scored.  They have already had to send Danny Santana down, who help spark some life in this team last season, and have mixed and matched in LF with Eduardo Escobar, Shane Robinson and  Oswaldo Arcia.  Most importantly, Buxton will get to play alongside Torii Hunter, who can help groom Buxton into a perenial All-Star.  Buxton will take over CF, where Aaron Hicks has failed to live up to his potential across three seasons. He is a career .209 hitter in the MLB in 560 ABs.

Buxton will hit at the bottom of the order with Brian Dozier and Hunter at the top.  He is owned in just 46% of ESPN leagues and 45% of Yahoo leagues.  GO GET HIM!
