The Seattle Mariners have acquired power hitting outfielder Mark Trumbo from the Arizona Diamondbacks, in a 6 player deal.

Mark Trumbo along pitcher Vidal Nuno will be shipped off to Seattle in exchange for catcher Welington Castillo, pitcher Dominic Leone, infielder Jack Reinheimer and outfielder Gabriel Guerrero.

Trumbo will add a much needed bat to the struggling Mariners lineup. They now have a great middle of the lineup on paper, with Robinson Cano, Nelson Cruz, Kyle Seager and now Trumbo.

With Felix Hernandez leading their staff, the Mariners are very much alive to win the AL West division.

Trumbo is hitting .259 this season with 9 home runs and 23 RBI.

This move puts a huge hole in the middle of the Diamondbacks lineup as Trumbo was batting cleanup behind Paul Goldschmidt. Makes you wonder, are the Diamondbacks done dealing?

Arizona's outfield moving forward will consist of Ender Inciarte, A.J. Pollock and David Peralta

Time for Yasmany Tomas to step up!
