ESPN Fantasy Football ADP Mock DraftAverage Draft Position is important to remember when you enter your fantasy football drafts this summer. If you do you homework, you will know which players are being undervalued and who is being overvalued, as well as the same for certain positions.  Last week we looked at Yahoo's ADP.
  • I removed all DEF/ST and Kickers from the list
  • I made slight adjustments to the order to give each team 2 RBs before a team could add a 3rd, and so that teams could not draft 2 QBs
  • I made sure each team drafted a RB and WR on their bench

Round 1

Eddie Lacy jumps to the #1 spot in ESPN drafts, up from 3rd overall on Yahoo, swapping places with Jamaal CharlesArian Foster jumps 9 spots to 7th overall.  Aaron Rodgers also leaps into the 1st round, 8th overall.  But it is C.J. Anderson who makes the biggest jump moving 11 spots, being selected 10th overall.

Round 2

Rob Gronkowski falls 8 spots out of the 1st round and is selected at 2.3 (15th overall) and it matched with Anderson.  Odell Beckham also fell 8 spots but Team 8 paired him with Rodgers.  ESPN owners are waiting even longer than Yahoo owners to grab Julio Jones and at pick 20, he is an absolute steal, which is why I will not spend a 1st round pick on a WR.  Between him, Demaryius Thomas, OBJ, Calvin Johnson  Jordy Nelson, A.J. Green, Alshon Jeffery and Randall Cobb, I am more than confident with them as my WR1.  Team 3 was the only roster to double up on RB with Charles/Hill.  Team 6 paired WRs Brown/Nelson, the only team to double up at WR.

Round 3

Just like Yahoo owners, ESPN owners are drafting Russell Wilson ahead of Peyton Manning.  I'll say it again, do not do this!  Do not do what Team 6 did either and start your draft with 3 WRs.  Because of this he is forced to start Jonathan Stewart as his RB1, skipping over Alfred Morris, Justin Forsett, Lamar Miller, Melvin Gordon, Carlos Hyde and Frank Gore.  Six teams have both their RBs while Team 1 (Lacy), Team 2 (Peterson), Team 4 (Lynch), and Team 10 (Anderson) have just one RB.  Team 6 and Team 8 are still without RBs.

Round 4

Greg Olsen in the 4th round is too early for me and I would prefer to wait for Kelce/Bennett in Round 5 or the end of the draft for a veteran TE or two.  DeAndre Hopkins as your WR2 in the 4th round?  LOVE IT!

Round 5

Team 2 added Murray to Peterson, Team 4 drafted Gurley to go along with Lynch, Team 6 added Ellington to Stewart and Team 8 paired Yeldon with Gore to form the RB duos.  Rookies off the board - Gurley/Cooper/Yeldon - be careful with those RBs.

Round 6

Bears rookie WR Kevin White going ahead of Mike Wallace, Jarvis LandryAllen Robinson, Martavis Bryant, Eric Decker, and Roddy White...will he even produce better numbers than teammate Eddie Royal who is probably going to go undrafted in most leagues?

Rounds 7-10

Stafford and Tannehill were the 11th and 12th QBs drafted and guys like Eli Manning, Phillip Rivers and Joe Flacco are still available as are some sleeper QBs in Teddy Bridgewater and Derek Carr.  It is ok to wait out the QB run.  Joseph Randle is going as the 25th RB in ESPN drafts, but by the end of August, he will be drafted as a teams RB2.

We broke down the Cowboys RB Battle between Randle and McFadden

Spiller is much more valuable than 26th RB overall in PPR leagues.  There will always be quality WRs at the ends of drafts so do not feel the need to rush to fill that WR3/Flex spot right away.  Smith/Floyd/Johnson/Cruz/Colston/Smith/Wright/Boldin/Crabtree will all be serviceable.
