Less than 24 hours after the New York Mets and Milwaukee Brewers trade fell apart, the Brewers have agreed to trade Carlos Gomez and Mike Fiers to the Houston Astros. Gomez is a huge upgrade for the Astros outfield that featured George Springer, Jake Marisnick, Colby Rasmus and Preston Tucker this season.

Gerardo Parra, if not traded to the Baltimore Orioles, is now the Brewers everyday CF and leadoff hitter.  He is available in nearly 30% of Yahoo and ESPN leagues.  Go pick him up!

The Astros will send Brett Phillips, Domingo Santana, Josh Hader and Adrian Houser to the Brewers.  That is a quite a return! Phillips was the Astros #2 prospect and Santana hit .256 in 39 ABs with the 'Stros this season, but hit .320 in the Minors with 18 doubles and 16 home runs in 326 ABs.

Mike Fiers joins newly acquired Scott Kazmir, Dallas Keuchel, Lance McCullers and Collin McHugh in the Astros rotation.
