Fantasy Football TE Julius Thomas Delanie Walker
The TE position saw 9 players score 100+ fantasy points in our PPR league last season.  10 if you include Jason Witten's 97 points.  6 other TEs scored at least 5 touchdowns, including Josh Hill, who is now the New Orleans Saints starting TE, after they traded Jimmy Graham to the Seattle Seahawks.  With the TE becoming a focal point for many offenses, especially in the Red Zone, do you value them enough to spend one of your first 5 picks on one?  Or are you willing to play the waiting game, see who falls in your lap and if you have to, play matchups each week?

Julius Thomas has done the unthinkable, he left Peyton Manning to join the Jacksonville Jaguars and Blake Bortles

Thomas played in just 12 games last season, limiting him to just 43 receptions for 489 yards.  Oh yeah, he scored 12 touchdowns!  27% of his catches were touchdowns.

After scoring 24 touchdowns in two seasons with the Denver Broncos, Thomas will look to prove his worth in Jacksonville, in an offense that scored just 4 TE TDs.

Weeks 4 and 7 were the only time Bortles targeted his TE 5+ times in a game but he connected with Clay Harbor on all 14 pass attempts for 103 yards.

Fantasy owners would love to see Thomas average 7 catches for 50 yards a game.  Problem is, Bortles only targeted Marcedes Lewis 3 times a game after he returned in Week 12.

Delanie Walker got off to a hot start to the 2014 season, with 4 touchdowns in the Tennessee Titans eight games before their Week 9 BYE.

He caught 35 passes and gained 475 yards, including a 10 catch (14 targets) 142 yard game in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys.

However, in the final 7 games of the season, Walker caught just 28 passes for 415 yards and failed to reach the endzone.

His 890 receiving yards was 4th best at the TE position and he was one of just six TEs with 100+ targets.

Walker was catching passes from Jake Locker, Charlie Whitehurst and Zach Mettenberger last season.

This year, he will be on the receiving end of Marcus Mariota's passes.
